“We are aware that some customers are experiencing a small delay with getting their cars, and we are working hard to resolve that problem,” a Jaguar spokesman told WhatCar?. “However, the delay is a result of us wanting to ensure each car is delivered at its absolute maximum standard. There is high demand for the car, and we want to make sure that each one is delivered with the latest software,” the spokesman explained.
Jaguar isn’t willing to reveal how long it will take until those certain customers receive the cars but with 4,000 pre-orders in the UK alone it appears that it may take time.

This may be the first (but almost certainly not the last) car launch delayed by a software glitch. At least when Vista spends the first year of its life being buggy, no-one dies due to an engine misfire or a navigation disaster.

We all knew it! That XF is cursed! Calling something that is not a Jaguar as such is to provoke the curse of Sir William Lyons. But just what is the problem? HMMMMMMMM? Some software failure? Oh, I´ve got it! That gizmo shifter drops down when you most need it resulting in the most tragic accidents. That car is from hell! LOL!! LOL!!
