Prototypes spotted previously in Germany and now in California’s Death Valley suggest the new Sorento will be sold on both sides of the Atlantic. As the latest spy images reveal, the 2010 Sorento retains the boxy look of the current model but gains a more aggressive front. The new grille will also feature the carmaker’s latest H-pattern design, which debuted recently on the all-new Forte sedan.
The most likely engine options will be the new 2.4L Theta four-cylinder, 2.7L Mu V6 and the 3.3L and 3.8L Lambda V6 units. A 2.5L common-rail turbodiesel will also be available for European markets.
Other new Kia models in the pipeline include the new Soul hatch and Forte sedan, Azera-based VG sedan, a new coupe based on the Forte, next-generation Sportage compact SUV and a new Picanto minicar.

This could actually turn out to be a pretty good vehicle. Too bad it's late to the game. But better late than never, 'cause the demand for SUVs will still be there, albeit with less enthusiasm.

It confirmed that this is the next sorento. Hyundai has got the veracruz and they dont have any reason to get another large SUV on the market. this one has got Kia's new angular lights and Kue's grille. It has to be sorento.
