Seen here is the pre-production test mule of the all new Mitsubishi Evolution X scheduled for release next year as a 2008 model. Set to feature Mitsubishi’s famous active yaw control and rumoured to output at least 300 bhp (225 kW), the Evo X will easily be the most potent Evo yet.



Weight is expected to be significantly less than the current model and there is even the possibility of a DSG style, dual clutch gearbox as the only option.

With the all new Nissan GT-R just around the corner, plus a Lexus supercar and even a new NSX, it seems Japan is fighting back with an all out supercar war.
