Shelby GT-H Mustang, now not just for rental

Ford’s plan to develop a retail version of the GT-H Hertz Mustang has been confirmed. The original car which had limited availability as a rental, will be converted to a full production model complete with the 325hp (243kW) V8 engine. The new version of the Mustang will carry the Shelby GT nomenclature and will be limited to a black or white paintjob with silver racing stripes. Ford is also well underway in developing production versions of the Ford Fairlane and Lincoln MKS concept for release in 2008. Stay tuned for more.
