As the driver's Bentley, the natural competition for the Flying Spur is the driver's Rolls-Royce: the Ghost.
It essentially matches the Flying Spur on most accounts, including power, refinement, and comfort.
The Maserati Quattroporte, on the other hand, is far more a sports sedan, with more suave styling and Italian passion.
The Mercedes-Benz S600, and its AMG counterparts, the S63 and S65, offer as much or more power than the Bentley, and the same for comfort, though they're less opulent inside and perhaps less distinctive outside.
Finally, there's the Porsche Panamera, which, like the Quattroporte, is more about serious sporting capability while seating four adults, with a very nice if not perfect interior and a just-short-of-elegant exterior.
