Official figures for the car’s CO2 emissions stand at just 99g/km, and the fuel consumption figure averages a claimed 74.3mpg (3.17L/100km). The increase in fuel efficiency compared with the already-frugal Ibiza 1.4 TDI, on which the new model is based, is thanks to a number of careful enhancements. New software has been added to the ECU, while emissions are further reduced through the fitment of a particulate filter. Furthermore, the gear ratios have been lengthened.
Other fuel-saving features include lengthened gear ratios, a more aerodynamic body, and a set of fuel-saving low resistance Dunlop tires.

NaBUru38 says
"Ecomotive"? If Seat's tagline is "auto emoción", then its environmentally-friendly lineup should be called "Ecomoción". Ford's ecoNetic is a much smarter name.
