...Rear-seat side airbags are optional on all trim levels. In government testing, the 2010 Volkswagen CC scored four out of a possible five stars in frontal crash protection. It received five stars for front-passenger side crash protection and four stars for rear-passenger side protection. In Insurance Institute for Highway Safety testing, the CC earned the top rating of "Good" in that agency's frontal-offset and side-impact tests. Interior Design and Special Features: Even in its most basic form, the 2010 VW CC's cabin is well-equipped and beautifully finished. In particular, the standard...

CarGurus' Review for 2010 volkswagen cc

...The 2010 Volkswagen CC straddles several automotive segments, which can be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on how you look at it.
Owners who need the functionality of a four-door sedan to haul family and friends, but don't want to give up sporty styling and decent performance will find the CC an attractive option.
However, the CC can also be considered a jack of all trades that excels at none.
Add in a price point many consider too high, and the CC becomes a hard-to-classify car for a very specific type of buyer...

Why should I also consider these?

The Mercedes-Benz CLS sedan looks quite a bit like the CLS from a distance, at least in profile, but the CLS costs tens of thousands more.

Just redesigned last year, the Audi A4 shares the CC's curvy, attention-getting styling and matches the quality—if not outright beauty—of its interior.

Breaking off in another, uniquely American direction is the Cadillac CTS, which offers a set of excellent powertrains and superior driving dynamics.

Chrysler's 300 is bold and handsome in a very different way than the CC, but its interior surfaces and details are a letdown.

The Lexus IS 250 and IS 350 trail this pack in terms of styling excitement, but the rear-wheel-drive architecture and Lexus' attention to detail are a pleasure.

Another new entry to consider for 2010 is the Honda Accord Crosstour, a new hatchback version of the Accord that feels like a completely different model, with its own sleek fastback look but the rest of the Accord's predictable goodness intact.

2010 Audi A4
The 2010 Audi A4 satisfies a wide spectrum of luxury-car shoppers; the optional Drive Select system's an expensive, unnecessary distraction.

2010 Cadillac CTS
The 2010 Cadillac CTS takes an edgy, American approach to European performance-and style, with the stunning CTS Sport Wagon.

2010 Honda Accord Crosstour
The 2010 Honda Accord Crosstour expands all the good points of the legendary Accord brand into the crossover market; styling is its only weak point.
