2010 saab 9-5 Professional Edmunds ReviewSource: Edmunds...Saab estimates the 9-5 will accelerate from zero to 60 mph in about 6.9 seconds, which is a bit below average for cars in this class. Safety: The 2010 Saab 9-5 comes standard with antilock brakes, front seat side airbags, side curtain airbags, active front head restraints, stability control and traction control. Interior Design and Special Features: The 2010 Saab 9-5's interior blends modern design with a serious, austere feel. The instrument panel sweeps gracefully into the center console as one sinuous ribbon. Accents in chrome and brushed aluminum add some panache to an otherwise... |

2010 Saab 9-5 Professional Cars.com ReviewSource: Cars.com...The adjustable armrest moves forward and up in a single motion, and it's padded in the same rich leather as the seats. It's also easy to adjust to the perfect height. While I hope Saab addresses the bulky plastics of the dashboard, it should leave the rest of the interior as-is. Features & Pricing All 2010 and 2011 trim levels come standard with leather seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, rain-sensing windshield wipers, a cooled glove box, a USB port, Bluetooth connectivity and a nine-speaker sound system. The 2011 Turbo4 Premium trim and above add power-folding and auto-dimming side... |

2010 Saab 9-5 Professional Cars.com ReviewSource: Cars.com...While the car feels solid, the company is still in a haze. For an automaker that prides itself on safety, there's no middle rear seat headrest, and a backup camera and blind spot system aren't available. A heads up display is optional, but adaptive cruise control and a moonroof can't be found, either. And while the interior is full of soft-touch surfaces, the blue plastic trim on the doors and center console — not to mention the swath of hard black plastic on the center stack — belongs in a Camaro, not a luxury car. Granted, our 9-5 is the only trim on the market, and several more... |

2010 Saab 9-5 Professional Cars.com ReviewSource: Cars.com...Interior The 9-5's cabin is also something of an evolution of its predecessor's, as it still features a driver-oriented dashboard. There's wider use of premium materials now, befitting the class in which it competes. A unique design cue is the plastic trim in the middle of the dash that features a mesh-like pattern. The driver faces a three-pod instrument panel with a central speedometer; an available head-up display projects vehicle information on the windshield. Additional available features include adaptive bi-xenon high-intensity-discharge headlights, keyless entry and starting, tri-zone... |
