2008 hyundai entourage Professional Edmunds ReviewSource: Edmunds...the Entourage and its Kia Sedona twin were the only minivans to receive a "Top Safety Pick" award last year by scoring a highest possible "Good" rating in its frontal-offset and side-impact crash tests, as well as for the effectiveness of its head restraints in rear impacts. Interior Design and Special Features: The Entourage offers typical minivan versatility, seating seven with sliding-adjustable second-row seats that allow you to divvy up space as needed. All three rows offer ample legroom; however, headroom is tight for adults in the third row despite their low positioning. To make room... |

The lower one locks and has a light inside — exactly the kind of feature that is often omitted to cut costs. Another bin at the base of the dashboard can hold a generous handful of CD cases. The second-row captain's chairs slide fore and aft, and both are flanked by a pair of swing-down armrests; there's no feeling that Hyundai has skimped... |

2008 Hyundai Entourage Professional Cars.com ReviewSource: Cars.com...Those second-row seats fold to the floor, and the third-row seats fold into the floor to increase cargo area. With all its seats in place, the Entourage seats seven. Under the Hood The Entourage's V-6 makes 250 horsepower — a healthy amount for a minivan, but the van's weight results in modest acceleration and decent but not exceptional fuel economy. A five-speed automatic transmission with manual shifting capability is standard. When the driver engages the manual shifting, an LCD screen shows which gear is engaged. Safety As of the start of the 2008 model year, the Entourage and its Sedona... |
Though 2008 started out fairly strong, riding the wave of 2007, it soon became clear that things weren't going to hold up. Few anticipated how sharply the market would drop... December 22, 2008 by Nelson Ireson 5
There aren't many minivans, crossovers, or SUVs that drive as well as the sporty Mazda 5.
The 2008 Hyundai Entourage is larger than the Mazda, and it drives that way.
If you don't need the extra room, then the Mazda 5 is worth a test drive.
