The A8 L comes with heated front seats, powered everything and a navigation system. The navigation and sound systems can be controlled by voice commands or a touchpad, much like that of a laptop computer.Audi sends the A8 out with a perfectly fine Bose sound system with an MP3 player, 6-CD changer and 12 speakers, but stereo aficionados can also opt for a Bang & Olufsen surround sound setup with a 1,400-watt amplifier and 19 speakers. An optional sport differential sends more power to the outside rear wheel in corners. Our car had it, and dialed to its most aggressive setting the differential gives the tail a drift-happy demeanor, and the steering's sharp turn-in precision makes rotating the car enjoyable. But in hard corners the A8 exhibits a lot of body roll — perplexing, given its firm-ish ride — and the modest drivetrain doesn't give you much confidence when accelerating out. 2013 Audi A8 OverviewSource: CarGurus...this side of the pond).Since the A8 is a scant 150 pounds heavier than other applications of the same engine—its special aluminum frame almost negating weight added for the Quattro all-wheel-drive system—the zip-to-60 time could drop below 5 seconds, but again Audi has nothing to say on that just yet. 2012 Audi A8 Professional Cars.com ReviewSource: Cars.com...The interior lighting glows in thin silver strips along the roofline and is so ambient at night that all three of my kids fell asleep every time they were in this car after 7 p.m. I can't get that to happen in my regular ride. Interior head-, shoulder- and legroom is ample. Storage space also abounds with plenty of cupholders and cleverly hidden nets and cubbies throughout the cabin. The massage function on the front seats comes as part of the Premium Package ($2,000) that also makes the front seats 22-way adjustable instead of the standard 18 ways.
