At first glance, there isn’t much of a difference between the 2012 Cadillac SRX crossover and the 2013 model, introduced at this week’s New York Auto Show. Parked... April 5, 2012 by Kurt Ernst
It's generally hard to get excited about a mild refresh on any car, but in the case of the 2013 Cadillac SRX, it's less difficult. This year will see the addition of... April 2, 2012 by Nelson Ireson 2

The original Cadillac SRX followed the likes of the BMW X5 and Range Rover Sport, but with the current SRX, introduced for 2010, Cadillac took aim directly at the best-selling Lexus RX 350.
Compared to the SRX, the styling of the Lexus is restrained—some would call it dull.
Other new entries include the Volvo XC60, that is slightly smaller than the SRX, but offers additional safety features such as the City Safety system, which might help avoid accidents in low-speed city driving.
The Audi Q5 is another stylish rival, but it’s also smaller than the SRX, especially in back.
The new Mercedes-Benz GLK provides some off-road capabilities and has an excellent combination of on-road ride and rugged trail capability.
The BMW X5 remains a rival, and while it's more satisfying and nuanced behind the wheel, the SRX is arguably a bit better in cabin appointments.
