While the high-performance RC F may have stolen much of the limelight, the Lexus RC's tamer RC 350 variant certainly shouldn’t be overlooked by anyone in the market for a sporty two-door with a bit of luxury. In the U.S. the 2015 RC is available with either a 3.5-liter V-6 in the RC 350 or a 5.0-liter V-8 in the aforementioned RC F.

Pricing for the 2015 RC 350 starts at $43,715 and for the RC F you’re going to need to pay at least $63,325. Both prices include a $925 destination charge. All-wheel drive is offered on the RC 350 and brings its price tag up to $45,950, and if you want to add the sporty F Sport package to your RC 350 then you’ll need to pay an extra $5,085.

The car’s closest competitor is BMW’s 4-Series, which for the RC 350-rivaling 435i you’ll need to pay $46,925 for the rear-wheel-drive model and $48,925 for the all-wheel-drive 435xi. The RC F-rivaling M4 starts at $65,125.

Note, the 4-Series comes in more variants, including some that are priced below the RC. Lexus does build another RC variant, the RC 300h hybrid, but this, like the hybrid version of the IS sedan, remains off-limits for the U.S. market.
