You just saw the reveal of Lamborghini’s Gallardo-replacing Huracán LP 610-4, and now hear its engine start in this new video.

The video, posted on YouTube by our friends at AutoEmotionenTV, shows the exhaust tips of the latest Lambo supercar just as the ignition is switched on and the car, a silver example, is driven out of what looks to be a studio.

The video recorder's microphone isn’t the best quality but you can clearly hear the distinct sound of the Huracán’s 5.2-liter V-10.

The engine, a revised version of the V-10 fitted to the Gallardo, develops 601 horsepower and 480 pound-feet of torque. The engine benefits from direct-injection technology and in the Huracán is paired to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission Lamborghini is calling the Lamborghini Doppia Frizione (LDF).

Hop behind the wheel of the Huracán and keep your foot to the floor, and you’ll accelerate to 62 mph in just 3.2 seconds, pass 124 mph arrives in 9.9 seconds and finally max out somewhere close to 202 mph.

Deliveries of the Huracán commence shortly after the car’s world debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show in March.
