Brabus is an expert at the tuning of Mercedes-Benz models, and when it comes to the new 2012 SLK, the German tuner has left no area untouched when it comes to applying its magic touch.

Starting with the exterior, Brabus adds a series of aerodynamic-enhancing components that also gives the SLK roadster a more aggressive look. The list of components include a new front spoiler, custom daytime running lights, sporty side sills and a new rear bumper with integrated diffuser, plus a boot lid spoiler.

The wheels are custom monoblock units, which are available in various one-piece or multi-piece designs with diameters ranging from 17- to 20-inches. Recommended tire choices are Continental, Pirellis or Yokohamas.

Other modifications include a set of sport springs that can lower the car up to 1.2-inches. Brabus also offers various versions of its high-performance brake systems for the new SLK.

For those seeking more power, the first line of modification for the SLK offered by Brabus is an ECU retune designed for gasoline and diesel engines. Gains in output typically range from around 30 to 50 horsepower.

Customers can also opt for bigger intercoolers on the turbocharged models, as well as a sports exhaust system and high-flow intake.

Inside, there are the typical performance modifications such as aluminum foot pedals, stainless-steel scuff plates and carbon fiber and Alcantara trim.
