Yesterday we saw pricing information for the high-performance 2012 Maserati GranTurismo MC, and now we have details for the more luxurious 2012 Maserati GranTurismo Convertible Sport.

Pricing for the big convertible, which comes with an automated folding soft-top, will start from $146,300 here in the U.S., making this the most expensive car ever sold by Maserati in the States.

It gets the same 444 horsepower and 376 pound-feet of torque 4.7-liter V-8 engine as the GranTurismo MC and European GranTurismo MC Stradale but the rest of the modifications come from the slightly tamer GranTurismo S.

These modifications include the same quick-shifting ZF six-speed automatic transmission, sporty aerodynamics package and uprated Skyhook suspension system.

One highlight of the drivetrain package is Maserati’s Friction Reduction Program, which has made the GranTurismo Convertible Sport’s engine more reactive to driver inputs, while reaching a six percent reduction in fuel consumption. The top speed comes in at 177 mph.
