This image may or may not be a teaser of the Tornante, Gumpert's second supercar and already shaping up to be much more aesthetically pleasing than its undoubtedly hard core but decidedly utilitarian Apollo.

Part of the reason for the visual improvement is that the Tornante is penned by Italian coachbuilder Touring Superleggera. Regardless of their fondness for cars that set themselves on fire, the Italians do have a history of carving a beautiful line.

There are similarities to the previous teaser released earlier this month and earlier this week (in the gallery above), and we know the Tornante will be coming to Geneva, but at the same time, the car in the two latest images appears to have a few more sharp edges than the official top-down sketch.

We'll leave it to you to decide if this teaser is Tornante material.
