While the new 458 Italia is almost universally acclaimed as one of the best looking Ferraris in years, perhaps even in all time, the recently unveiled Ferrari FF is drawing mixed responses from most that have seen it.

Ferrari has certainly ventured into new territory with the FF, which features a more practical shooting brake body and all-wheel-drive system. It is also one of the biggest models ever unveiled by Ferrari, stretching 193.2 inches in length and 76.9 inches across, and its relatively unique hatchback design nets a generous 15.9 cubic feet of space, expandable to 28.2 cubic feet.

All of which brings us to an important point: Should a supercar ever need to be practical? Does a hatchback suit an exotic car with a six-figure price tag or is it a design that should stay in the affordable end of the new car spectrum?
