If you're into social media and into cars, the opportunity to win a spot at Super Bowl XLV and a 2012 C-Class Coupe could be too good to pass up. You'll need to crowd-source some help, though, and Mercedes-Benz has recruited two celebs to help: musician Pete Wentz and New York Yankee  Nick Swisher.

How will the high-profile Tweeters (Wentz has over 2.1 million followers, Swisher has over 1.25 million) help contestants? By creating "Twitter fuel," according to a Fox News report. What, exactly, that means, is open to interpretation, but we expect it will be generating a higher profile for the interaction and problem-solving required to win the race.

The Tweet Race, which Mercedes-Benz bills as the first of its kind, will pit four two-person teams, each departing from a different major metropolitan area, against each other to win the grand prize: two tickets to the Super Bowl and a 2012 C-Class Coupe. The winners will be the first to complete the race route and challenges set out for them.
