It was back in December that Aston Martin shocked us with the unveiling of a new car, the DB10, which was developed exclusively for a starring role in the new James Bond movie Spectre. Today, an extended trailer is out and we get to see several shots of the car in action and even learn some if its specs. The clip also features the Jaguar C-X75—the sinister supercar concept belongs to one of the villains.
Aston Martin built just 10 examples of the DB10—just enough to satisfy the needs of the film's production crew. They won't be officially offered for sale, and it's likely only one or two copies will survive filming intact.

While the styling may indicate a next-generation production model, namely the DB9 replacement we’ve been spying for months, the two-seat DB10 is actually based on a chopped version of the existing VH architecture that underpins all current Astons. We learn in the clip that the car is capable of 0-60 mph acceleration in 3.2 seconds, and that it can also shoot flames out of its rear.
The new movie, the 24th in the series, will once again see Daniel Craig play the role of Bond. Christoph Waltz stars as the lead villain, Franz Oberhauser, and wrestler-turned-actor Dave Bautista plays the role of Mr. Hinx, no doubt one of Oberhauser’s henchmen.
Spectre is due out in theaters November 6.
