Peugeot planning 308-based SUV

The new Peugeot 308 was only launched this month but there are already rumors of an SUV model currently being developed to be based on the same platform as the popular hatch. The new SUV would be positioned below the recently revealed 4007 crossover, which itself shares its architecture with a Mitsubishi design.

Likely to be called the 3008, the new SUV would be offered in both FWD and AWD configurations and would be aimed at rival soft-roaders like the Toyota Rav4 and upcoming Ford IosisX crossover. According to
