Sedans, coupes, wagons, convertibles, diesels and possibly hybrids--the new 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class lineup is proliferating like the Brady Bunch as it's renewed for the coming year.
TheCarConnection.com's already shown us the details on the new 2010 E-Class, back at the 2009 Detroit auto show. Now Mercedes is letting loose on details for the upcoming two-door version, which it'll show off during the 2009 New York auto show press days in April.
The basics sound familiar to anyone who's owned or driven a CLK coupe -- that's because the E-Class Coupe will replace that CLK in the lineup. It takes some of its structure from the E-Class sedan, but the Coupe has unique, sexy bodywork, and in silhouette lines up favorably with the Mercedes CL coupe, too. Along with the new body, the E-Class Coupe shares its new suspension, new body and interior, and a choice of E350 six-cylinder and E550 eight-cylinder models with the E-Class sedan. A seven-speed automatic is standard on all.
