I have personally bought 63 Siennas now to date
Source: Cars.com

...I have driven each Sienna at least 100 miles each and have had almost no problems. I own a dealership that sells vehicles world wide and I truly belive that the Sienna is the best passanger van ever built for family use. Most of my Siennas are the XLE or Limited model with the Navigation system. One we have owned for over a year and a half. My wife drive it every day. I plan to buy another 60 Siennas as soon as I can and I would recomend it to anyone, even my own mother. Actually I helped here buy a brand new one when they first came out because the used ones werent around yet much."...

excellent mini van compared to others
Source: Cars.com

..."I have had my 06 sienna for almost 6 months and have put on over 10k.
The comfort is a little less than my 03 town and country, but reliability and almost trouble free totally surpass it.
When I drove though the mountains of Mexico I noticed it didn't have a lot of power to pass.
Back in Texas where it is flat, it has plenty of power.
It is plenty useful for moving things with the folding seats. This is a much easier vehicle for caring kids around compared to a car.totally recommend to others"...

Reliable van
Source: Cars.com

..."We love the comfort and style of this vehicle, however both automatic doors broke the weekend we bought the van,
very disappointed in that mostly because the doors while turned off are very heavy and older ones and children can not opperate them.......No, I would not buy another if this is a possibility."...

Dont Do it!
Source: Cars.com

..."We're on our third engine on this van, and this one is about to die.
This model year Sienna is very prone to engine sludge, which destroys the engine.
The OEM motor failed at 127,000 miles. The rebuilt engine failed within 3,000 miles & was covered by warranty & replaced free.
The third blows a voluminous cloud of blue smoke, uses 2 qts of oil per week and runs with a direct miss in one of the cylinders...

Don't waste your money on this car
Source: Cars.com

...My wife was driving the car in a busy highway here in MA. By sudden, the car abruptly stopped working. She was in the middle of the road and my baby with her. She was almost hit by several cars behind. She tried to turning it on again, and nothing. Any yellow light on the control panel, nothing. After two one hour, the car was towed to the closest Toyota dealer. They determined that one of the coil cylinder failed. It doesnt make sense for a 70000 miles car. My second car is a Rav4 01 with 170000 Miles on it, and I have never ever faced similar situations with it. I bought a Toyota Sienna for...

new sienna
Source: Cars.com

..."Bought 09 Sienna in Dec. Just finished 2300 mile trip.
Some thoughts. Good acceleration. Good to drive. 23.4mpg for trip.
Remote-controlled doors and rear entertainment system worth the cost.
Can't beat a mini-van for vacationing. Two defects so far: a windowscreen that won't retract and a 'recirculate' control that won't stay engaged.
Also, this is the only vehicle I have ever encountered where you can hear the gasoline sloshing around in the tank when you come to a stop."...

Overpriced Average car
Source: Cars.com

...When I try to accelerate it holds back and then jumps forward. Not very good in mountings. Gasoline consumption is far from advertised for the city and high way cycle. (I am very quiet driver). Some of the plastic is trembling inside the car. Some noses in the left passenger door.Changed the brakes twice for the first 70K.I find it very inconvenient that the car does not have day light sensor to turn on the lights when it becomes dark.I think that it is overpraised for the existing quality."...
