An Excellent MinivanSource: MSN Autos...The rear view camera is extremely useful when backing up. We test drove the Toyota Sienna before we bought this one. The Sienna does not have any road feel even compared to our previous ride a 2000 Sienna XLE. Also, Sienna uses a chain instead of a timing belt. While, it might be better from maintenance point of view, it was very noisy. Also impressed with the safety and other utilitarian features in the Ody (rear view mirror, storage etc). We like the middle seat in the second row, so we can seat three kid in the middle row. The space in the back is humongous. We love the minivan... |

Toyota reigns supremeSource: Cars.com
..."I am a retired automobile sales representative. Our dealership handled both Toyota and Honda, as well as Nissan. |

Best vehicle overallSource: Cars.com...Unlike the competing Honda Odyssey, it is available with all wheel drive. The second row of seats fold flat against the front seats, offering almost as much hauling space as other minivans with all seats removed (the third row folds flat into the floor). The van does not drive like a sports car, but has a tight turning radius and handles very predictably. I get an average of 18.2 mpg in all kinds of driving. For the most part, our only repairs were brakes, tires, oil & filters - wearing parts, regular maintenance. Once we had a problem & Toyota stood behind us and covered the repair at 140,000 mi. Every day I could count on it to start. The handling was great, even in the MI winters. The only reason we don't still have the van is that another car ran a red light, hit me so hard it flipped the van and totaled it. I crawled out with only minor surface scratches from glass. It is a very... |
