After a Year and 7000 miles - a little dissappointed.Source: MSN Autos...Cons: I have 7000 miles on it and the Air Conditioner died on me, dealer did not show much interest in taking care of it right away but rather make me wait for a few days. Power is not sufficient, it seems to rev a lot during steep climbs. Seats are very difficult to remove completely. The manuals are useless. The leather quality is not what a 40K SUV should have, it looks very cheap, my old 10 year old vehicle had better leather when I retired it. Overall: I think the vehicle is overpriced for what you get. The cheap plastic is not worth the Toyota quality that comes along (read my comments... |

Mostly Good, few points to consider...Source: Edmunds...I did this mostly for the towing capacity, but I also love the styling of the Sequioa. Despite loving the overall SUV, I will list the cons to consider if you don't need the towing capacity: - Seat layout. Platinum captain seating in back is silly and inconvenient. - Nav/Audio: overly complex touchscreen interface. For example, to change stations to next preset (without using the steering wheel controls), you have to switch to "audio" mode. - Handling: while good for a 3 ton truck, its still shaky at speeds and subject to wind. If you need a luxury tank, buy this... |

Awesome SUVSource: MSN Autos...The Sequoia is hands down the best vehicle we've owned in a long time. It has the room we need with the seating (8) we need. It has a great "whoop" factor. We can whoop it around so easily. We had a Suburban that took 10 minutes to park. The Sequoia "whoops" right into the parking space without feeling like you are driving a bus. Awesome. Cons: I wish I could plug my cell phone into any power port in the vehicle without the engine running. That was one nice feature of the minivan. Overall: Awesome vehicle. I would buy another one... |

Overall good vehicle but a few dislikesSource: Cars.com...My dislikes with the vehicle are the low quality nav system(poor graphics compared to competition,no 3d buildings and view), said nav system's inability to be adjusted while vehicle is moving, the cruise control's inability to be used WITHOUT the radar, useless remote starter(WASTE OF $!!!!)that doesn't let leave vehicle on while running and u unlock vehicle from outside to enter it,no fan speed adjustabilty from wheel, not able to just sync from driver and passenger climate only. Have optional trd big brake kit(front brakes only). Was installed at factory. Front brakes recently began to... |

Good - But could have been betterSource: MSN Autos...Cons: Having been an owner of a 97 Toyota 4-Runner Limited for 4 years and running the vehicle into the ground - it never once complained and never once gave me an ounce of problems. I have to say I am very disappointed in the quality and ruggednous of this vehicle - while I am sure the large vehicle makes it a challenge I expect better from Toyota Overall: If you are looking for a good quality Large SUV this vehicle will make you happy. If you are an experienced Toyota quality person - you will be disappointed in this offering. The anti-rollover breaking system has resulted in my rims always... |

The Chevrolet Tahoe and its near-twin, the GMC Yukon, are picks for fuel-efficiency and handling.
There's even a Hybrid version of the Tahoe and Yukon, with fuel-economy ratings of up to 21 mpg city, 22 highway.
The Ford Expedition was redesigned a few years back with a more luxurious interior, and it has perhaps the best ride of these large utes, along with a smooth powertrain, though its engines lag in strength.
The Nissan Armada comes with one wheelbase and one engine, but its big V-8 makes the brassiest sound at speed, and its styling is still like no other.
However, the Armada rates near the back of the pack for interior appointments; they feel a bit dated at this point.
