NICE HUGE TRUCK
Source: Kelley Blue Book

...I drove the truck in a long road trip and this truck performed like a well oiled machine. I love the back window that has the ability to go up and down if I wish just by a press of a button. I wish I had picked the 5.7 engine which gives out 381 HP, but 276 HP that I have now is enough. The steering wheel is real smooth when turning of backing up trying to park, plus this truck never hesitates when accelerating unlike other trucks produced by GMC. OH, I previously owned a Mitsubishi Montero before this truck and even though the Montero didn't give me any problems, this truck is far superior...

Love my 2005 Sequoia
Source: Cars.com

..."I bought a Certified Preowned Sequoia SR5 and simply love the handling, comfort and look of this SUV.
I got a really good deal because people were trying to dump their gas guzzlers, but my family wanted a 3rd car to accommodate all the kids' teenage friends.
I enjoy driving this car because it is very smooth (compared to my Ford Explorer) and I am able to have conversations with the back in the quiet cabin.
The sliding rear window in the back is also a plus allowing us to put things in the vehicle without having to lift the whole door. Love the controls and easy access."...

OK truck not better than a Sequoia
Source: Edmunds

...Never own a SUV before and will never get use to drive a car/truck this big. Yes it has all the creature comfort but it drive like a truck. With gas price moving up again this look like a mistake to get one. If you really need a truck to carry 7 or 8 adult then this is not going to be your first choice. This truck has higher clearance so it is good for offroading...but who will take this 50K machine off road? Before you decide to buy one make sure go take a test drive. Did I mentioned that I felt it was a mistake to bug a truck this big? Maybe it will grow on me. Thus far I'm still driving my...

A lot better than Tahoe, suburban and expedition
Source: Cars.com

..."i have had my sequoia for over a year now and it is
the best suv i ever had.Ive had two Suburbans in the
past and u cant compare them with the Sequoia.Acceleration is like a luxury sedan with a big v8.I timed how long it took it to get from 0-60 and the result was 6.4 seconds
,thats because i have the 5.7 liter engine. It turns like a car which is good considering how big it is.i honestly think its one of the best looking suvs on the market.Smooth highway ride
,very safe.if your thinking about buying a tahoe please consider the sequoia i guarantee you will change your...

Absolutely The Best SUV I've Owned........
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: When I purchased my Sequoia it was used and had 75,000 miles on it!
I was a bit skeptical but the beauty and feel of this SUV is amazing!
I'm a 58 year old grandmother of 4, and I still turn heads when I drive this car.
Has everything from DVD's front and back, 20+ alloy wheels (which are to die for), heated seats, roomy, I could go on and on..........love it!
Will purchase another when this one wears out! Cons: Yes, the "check engine" light comes on occassionally, will have that checked soon. No other problems with acceleration at all! Overall: Buy one...

Ultimate weekend assault vehicle
Source: Kelley Blue Book

...Sweetest ride I've ever owned; space enough for 3 baby
seats in the second row and the in-laws in the 3rd row are so far back that I can't hear them scream as I blow by cars going up steep hills while towing my 19 foot boat.
Also gotta love the storage between the driver and passenger seats that's big enough to hold a case of beer.
Even on low, the headlights are so bright that oncoming drivers think a UFO is approaching.
With almost as much HP as the original Dodge Vipers with V10's, the 5.7L V8 incredibly gets better gas milage than smaller SUV's with V6's.
It's not...

...This is the nicest truck I have ever driven in. A real luxury. When people get into this truck they are all amazed at the performace. If you are looking for a large SUV, this is the way to go!...

Why should I also consider these?

For now, shoppers in this class have a lot to celebrate, with some really good vehicles that dealers are, in most cases, heavily discounting to get off the lots.

The Chevrolet Tahoe was recently redesigned and reigns supreme, with its long-wheelbase version, the Suburban, in this segment, and its V-8 engines are both responsive and fuel-efficient.

The Ford Expedition was redesigned a few years back with a more luxurious interior; it comes in standard or long-wheelbase editions, and stands out for having a good ride and capable handling even though its power ratings lag.

The Nissan Armada comes with one wheelbase and one engine, but its big V-8 makes the brassiest sound at speed, and its styling is still like no other.

2009 Chevrolet Tahoe
For those who need to get work done, but with some style and comfort, practicality still reigns in the 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe.

2008 Ford Expedition
The 2008 Ford Expedition is a big, capable SUV with a truly useful and convenient third row.

2009 Nissan Armada
Competitors to the 2009 Nissan Armada offer roomier interiors and better options, but the Armada should be commended for its handsome looks and powerful V-8 engine.
