Awsome CarSource: MSN Autos...The only thing that I have had to do outside of regular maintenance is a heater core. Even my after market sunroof hasn't been a problem. No rips in the fabric, keeps going and going. Cons: I went with the premium sound system that wasn't so premium. I ended up replacing the stereo and speakers. Visor mirror covers broke (still have the mirrors tho). Light behind the heater/ac controls went out at 125k. Overall: It's been an awsome car for me. So much better than the 96 Passat that I bought brand new. I liked it so much that I gave it to my brother and bought an 07 Camry SE... |

EXCELLENT VEHICLE.Source: MSN Autos...I am currently getting close to 40 mpg fwy and 35+ in town. First time we own a Camry. Car looks great, handles well and accelerates well into the high mountains of Puerto Rico. All of the electronics are good quality. A BIG plus to the "hands free" phone feature is very convienent. The safety features that come with it actually caused my insurance to be lower and saved some $$$.$$.This car is very well built and it is better than any other car that I have owned. Cons: Trunk is about half the size of non-hybrid version. Overall: Overall this car is great. The ride, safety features, mileage... |

Camry hybrid 2009 - The Vehicle ExtraordinaireSource: MSN Autos...which (after some practice) become a user friendly source of valuable (and detailed as you'd like) information. Cons: I dislike nothing about the vehicle...but I would recommend the following, 1/ the outside mirrors be revisited/redesigned to cover more (particularly lower) viewing area for backing up; 2/ Toyota design/install satellite radio antennas that do not detract/distract, like the dealer installed XM and Sirius antennas do, from the vehicles clean lines and beautiful appearance. Both the XM and Sirius satellite-radio antennas that Toyota dealers currently have available to them... |

Except in sporty SE trim, the 2009 Toyota Camry has perhaps the softest, most comfort-oriented ride among mid-size sedans.
The 2009 Chevrolet Malibu, however, also emphasizes ride quality and comfort, and it has more distinctive styling, equivalent performance, and more impressive materials and quality.
The Malibu also includes electronic stability control on all of its models except the base LT.
The new-for-2009 Accord has—compared to the Camry—a stunning interior, especially in the more expensive V-6 models.
The Fusion and Altima have a sportier driving feel but are a little smaller inside.
The Volkswagen Passat is another good alternative to the Camry—especially with the base 2.0T four-cylinder engine—but beware of spotty reliability.
