A great vehicle.
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: I own a 2004 6 cylinder Camry. My 2009 Hybrid matches or exceeds it in acceleration and handling.
The vehicle is quiet and well designed. I get 37 mpg real mileage without drafting trucks or driving below the speed limit.
Cons: The console set-up and the rear seat pockets are annoying and inferior to what my 2004 Camry has. Overall: Exceeded all my expectations. It's a Camry and it gets great mileage...

greatest car i owned
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: first the engine great quality also the transsmision ,
very reliable car , doesnt give problems at all, and i bought with 160,000 miles on it and the car performance is good ,
also the comfort is very for long trips , good on gas also ,
i really missed my car , i was stolen from me :( Cons: nothing really probably just needs a good sound system Overall: when my car was stolen it had over 200
,000 and still the car was in very good shape , overall the car is a very good buy for starters , i own a buick and also a ford but they not compare to my stolen toyota not even...

Awsome Car
Source: MSN Autos

...The only thing that I have had to do outside of regular maintenance is a heater core. Even my after market sunroof hasn't been a problem. No rips in the fabric, keeps going and going. Cons: I went with the premium sound system that wasn't so premium. I ended up replacing the stereo and speakers. Visor mirror covers broke (still have the mirrors tho). Light behind the heater/ac controls went out at 125k. Overall: It's been an awsome car for me. So much better than the 96 Passat that I bought brand new. I liked it so much that I gave it to my brother and bought an 07 Camry SE...

Ultimate Camry Hybrid
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: I have owned many cars from Camry to Lincolns.
I love this car. It is the best car I have ever owned.
The ride is comfortable and the pick up is trememdous compared to by 2003 Camry.
I recently got 40 mpg average on a trip from CT to FL.
I am very impressed. Cons: Nothing so far Overall: If you are deciding between the Hybrid and a loaded 6 cylinder Camry, the price is minimal and you can get all the options...

Still At The Top

...Pros: Comfortable, plenty of head room, fun to drive. Cons: fuel efficiency is good, but should be better Overall: Overall an excellent value...

Great Car!
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: Quiet comfortable ride. No trade off for hybrid technology.
Cons: only dislike is that there is no auto-up on the windows.
Overall: I traded in my 2006 V6 Camry for a 2009 Camry Hybrid.
The Hybrid is quieter and other than the way the 4 cylinder engine sounds as opposed to the sound of a six cynlinder engine, I can't tell the difference in everyday performance.
Most of my driving is in town in traffic. I love being in traffic knowing I'm using very little of the gasoline engine...

EXCELLENT VEHICLE.
Source: MSN Autos

...I am currently getting close to 40 mpg fwy and 35+ in town. First time we own a Camry. Car looks great, handles well and accelerates well into the high mountains of Puerto Rico. All of the electronics are good quality. A BIG plus to the "hands free" phone feature is very convienent. The safety features that come with it actually caused my insurance to be lower and saved some $$$.$$.This car is very well built and it is better than any other car that I have owned. Cons: Trunk is about half the size of non-hybrid version. Overall: Overall this car is great. The ride, safety features, mileage...

Camry hybrid 2009 - The Vehicle Extraordinaire
Source: MSN Autos

...which (after some practice) become a user friendly source of valuable (and detailed as you'd like) information. Cons: I dislike nothing about the vehicle...but I would recommend the following, 1/ the outside mirrors be revisited/redesigned to cover more (particularly lower) viewing area for backing up; 2/ Toyota design/install satellite radio antennas that do not detract/distract, like the dealer installed XM and Sirius antennas do, from the vehicles clean lines and beautiful appearance. Both the XM and Sirius satellite-radio antennas that Toyota dealers currently have available to them...

Test Drive Others First
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: Nothing. Cons: Have owned many cars. This is my first Toyota.
I purchased this car as an economical, comfortable vehicle.
Neither of these expectations have been met. The car is horribly under powered, and does not deliver the mpg I would expect.
The seats are very soft and if you have a bad back you will have a worse one after driving this car. Overall: I will never own another Toyota...

Why should I also consider these?

Except in sporty SE trim, the 2009 Toyota Camry has perhaps the softest, most comfort-oriented ride among mid-size sedans.

The 2009 Chevrolet Malibu, however, also emphasizes ride quality and comfort, and it has more distinctive styling, equivalent performance, and more impressive materials and quality.

The Malibu also includes electronic stability control on all of its models except the base LT.

The new-for-2009 Accord has—compared to the Camry—a stunning interior, especially in the more expensive V-6 models.

The Fusion and Altima have a sportier driving feel but are a little smaller inside.

The Volkswagen Passat is another good alternative to the Camry—especially with the base 2.0T four-cylinder engine—but beware of spotty reliability.

2008 Nissan Altima
The 2008 Nissan Altima is a little sportier, though not less sensible.
