Brilliant car
Source: Cars.com

..."Fantastic car, a huge number of features (both useful - headlights automatically turn off when the door is opened, and completely ridiculous - wing mirror demisters...).
Comfortable to drive, the only problem is its high fuel consumption in the city,
however, open road driving is a breeze and it will drive 600km+ on a 50L tank.Powering up some hills can be a bit of a struggle,
especially when the huge boot is filled with stuff, though overall a great car."...

My First Honda...

...Pros: 32.4 MPG highway, 75-80 MPH, AC on... Cons: Interior carpet looks and is cheap...
Overall: More rear seat room than Camry, minimal vibration at idle in drive for a 4 cylinder, and adequate power...

1993 Camry XLE V-6, 3.0

..."This was a hand-me-down car from my brother. It was his second car and he gave it a beating, including minor wrecks and a cracked radiator.
I began driving it about two years ago and it's been a great first car.
I would prefer this over many newer cars, even with 157,000 miles. They have done a good bit of work on it...injector replacement, main head gasket, entire brake set, and springs among others.
The only problem are the headlights, they're pretty weak.If you treat the car well and do regular maintenance, it will run forever."...

Great car for student or family

..."This car is very reliable and great on gas. I would own another.
I used this car for transporting my family, groceries, you name it. Handled great in the snow and rain and I felt very safe driving it around."...

Awesome Ride!!!
Source: MSN Autos

...I first looked at a Camry but the Accord looks sooo much better!! This is my first Honda and will NOT be my last if they keep making them like this. The Accord looks similar to a BMW without the sticker price. I have driven both and believe the Accord has a smoother ride. The leather interior and wood grain add enough class to compete with finer sedans like BMW and Lexus. Adding XM radio to an already powerful sound system completes the deal. Cons: None that I have found yet. Overall: Wonderful car from bumper to bumper and beyond!!!...

Smog Safe!
Source: Cars.com

..."I bought this car from my uncle's roommate and it only had 181k miles.
I drive about 200 miles a week and it hasn't given me any critical problems.
I installed a cold-air intake on the Camry and I get 25-30 mpg hwy and 15-20 mpg city. The tune-up is very easy on these cars. Not a good-looking car, but it's definately reliable."...

GREAT CAR / SOME PROBLEMS
Source: Cars.com

..."HAD 75000 WHEN I GOT IT, HAVE 216000 AND STILL RUNNING EVERY DAY.
HAD ALL THE GASKETS REPLACED, FRONT DRIVE SHAFTS REPLACED A FEW TIMES,
HAD 2 MAJOR TUNE UPS, THE AIR CONDITIONER JUST WENT OUT, AND THE WINDOWS ARE ACTING UP, BUT OVER ALL THE CAR HAS BEEN VERY DEPENDABLE, I MIGHT TRY FOR 300000 ??"...

Best Car I've Ever Bought!
Source: Cars.com

..."I've owned my '97 Camry for 6 years and with over 200,000 miles on it, I'm wondering when it will die!
No major repairs have been required; although the transmission is just beginning to slip only when in cruise control.
This car plows through Michigan winters like a breeze (MUCH better than my husband's Saturn Ion).
This car is by far the best car I've ever owned! Regular oil changes & brake job, a little front end work, and a set of new tires every fall are all it's ever needed.
Looking forward to buying a new Toyota when this one finally gives up! I love my Toyota!"...

It had a long life
Source: Cars.com

..."So the camry xle v6 was a gift from my aunt 5 years ago.
the car ran great for 3 of those years but the last 2 years it was in the shop a lot; 1 thing after another until the engine failed a block test then we said okay we're done.
it had a good life, very fun to drive, but died with only 155,xxx miles on it."...

Why should I also consider these?

Except in sporty SE trim, the 2009 Toyota Camry has perhaps the softest, most comfort-oriented ride among mid-size sedans.

The 2009 Chevrolet Malibu, however, also emphasizes ride quality and comfort, and it has more distinctive styling, equivalent performance, and more impressive materials and quality.

The Malibu also includes electronic stability control on all of its models except the base LT.

The new-for-2009 Accord has—compared to the Camry—a stunning interior, especially in the more expensive V-6 models.

The Fusion and Altima have a sportier driving feel but are a little smaller inside.

The Volkswagen Passat is another good alternative to the Camry—especially with the base 2.0T four-cylinder engine—but beware of spotty reliability.

2008 Nissan Altima
The 2008 Nissan Altima is a little sportier, though not less sensible.

2003 Volkswagen Passat
