A new experience.
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: Mileage is great and the cabin is very comfortable.
Have 1500 miles on it and it is getting better to drive all the time.
especially enjoy the keyless entry and the start button--still find myself reaching in my pocket for the keys as I approach the car.
Cons: The trunk is smaller than I would prefer. Overall: Great car, would highly recommend...

Repair Costs on Camry Hybrid are Rediculous
Source: Cars.com

...Another minus is the small trunk space. You cannot fit a weekends worth of luggage in it, and you cannot fold the seats down. When I was driving in town at about 13,000 miles, the window controls stopped working. This was not covered under warranty, and cost my $200 to have repaired. Another thing that drives me nuts about this car is how low quality it is. The interior plastics are so cheap. None of the interior panels fit well, and the vinyl trim on the door is coming off. The whole car feels as if it were put together with tape. I am so irritated with this car, that it just sits at home...

It's quieter than my friend's Lexus!
Source: Cars.com

...My best trip was on I-40 where I got 41.3 between Gallup and Needles. I expected great mileage and am getting it. I didn't realize how damned quiet the Camry Hybrid would be! It feels like I'm driving a Rolls! It is comfortable and Frontier Toyota in Santa Clarita sold it to me in August 2007 (its a 2008 model) for $22,800 before tax and license. I love this car. I've owned about two dozen cars, most new, in my life and this ranks right up there with my 55 Olds (my first car) for sheer fun of having it. I would recommend it to anyone who is staring $3 or $4 gas during the next few years. My...

1998 Toyota Tacoma
Source: Cars.com

..."In September of 2006 we purchased a brand new Toyota Camry Hybrid.
Up until 4 weeks ago we enjoyed everything about the car.
We began to hear a strange noise coming from the front end when turning left or right from a parked position.
After 3 visits to the dealership we were informed of a Toyota alert to the dealership regarding a faulty steering shaft.
The whole unit needs to be replaced. If you are a Camry Hybrid owner and are experiancing this front end noise have it checked out.
Fortunatly we are still under warrenty ,otherwise the cost might have been rather...

The best car I've ever owned
Source: Cars.com

..."This is really a special car. I usually buy a new car every 3 to 5 years.
This is definitely the most comfortable and best looking car I've parked in my driveway.
The gas mileage is a bonus. I average between 39 and
40 mpg consistently for highway driving (about 70 mph with the cruise control on for the most part) I don't get 40 mpg in city driving (about 36 is good enough for me. I love my Camry Hybrid."...

The ultimate driving machine
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: Best car I've ever owned/driven - previous vehicles include Camry, Carolla.
Cons: None Overall: Toyota have the background and experience to "get it right," in the Camry Hybrid they have done so.
The vehicle drives like a dream, and delivers the gasoline economy promised.
I was torn between buying the Prius or the Camry Hybrid - I wne for Camry because of the extra space and quality = good choice...

Camry Hybrid - Look carefully before you purchase
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: Nice looking car. Body style is modern and attractive.
Good MPG until it started having problems with the computer.
Now the MPG is down to 33. Cons: Computer problems that the dealer does not seem to be able to diagnose and repair, which has brought the MPG down from 38 to 33.
It seems to use the gas engine more than the battery.
High price - almost $28k for 33 mpg? Itty bitty trunk Very bad blind spot Uncomfortable head rest design Very poor customer service from dealer- Modesto Toyota in Modesto CA Overall: Do the math,
is the gas savings worth the price you...

Why should I also consider these?

The Altima Hybrid, which also has a full-hybrid system, has mileage and overall performance that's very similar to those of the Camry Hybrid, but the Camry's interior is a little roomier.

The luxurious, diesel-powered Mercedes E320 Bluetec seems like an unlikely competitor, but it also attracts buyers who want to decrease their petroleum use, and it gets 32 mpg on the highway.

To its credit, the E320 Bluetec rides, handles, and accelerates just about as well as the gasoline E350, but it's more than twice the price of the Camry Hybrid.

Or if you'd like a full-hybrid powertrain in a compact SUV, there's the Ford Escape Hybrid, which is rated at 34 mpg city, 30 mpg highway.

Finally, if you don't need all the space of the Camry and don't mind a hatchback, you might as well go for the much more fuel-efficient Prius, which gets 48 mpg city, 45 mpg highway.
