simply the most VFM full size sedanSource: Cars.com...my suggestion is stop getting disillusioned by the tag oh this car is for retirees (atleast the touring trim which i have can be driven hard) if you want a truly spacious car with cavernous space, hid lights standard on touring, leather seats etc, then go for this car the newer model is even better but sadly they dont offer the touring trim anymore. its way better than a accord or camry and without being a hybrid it churns out 34mpg on highways and 22 in city driving and yea 268bhp at 62500 rpm what a steal. i have the burgundy color with titanium colored rims.lot of people give appreciative... |

Best Car Ever?Source: Cars.com...a step on the accelerator pushes you back in your seat like a race car. Our road mileage is about 28 mpg, despite the fact that this sold to us by a dealer who used it as a loaner car. Our particular car is loaded to the hilt with accessories, including Elaine the Electric lady (a GPS based talking trip adviser), who has made our travels to unknown (or forgotten) destinations a real joy. We are very pleased with the vehicle and outstanding price, as advertised on Cars.com. The 131 mile trip to an out of town dealer was well worth it; we would have traveled twice that distance for this car at... |

1989 Ford Escort PonySource: Cars.com...My 1995 Toyota Avalon as old as it is , i got it used, and so far it's been the best most reliable car i've ever owned.180,000 thousand miles and it's still going, even the A/C works. With the Escort, the blower motor went out the end of the third year.I was told they had to take the dashboard apart . The Ford dealer said the cost would be almost more than what the car was worth to fix the A/C.So for the next 2 years i had a working A/C compressor but a blower fan motor that was burnt out and they couldn't easily get to it because it was glued in with the dashboard assembly.I was dying in... |

Toyota positions the Avalon in a strange place.
With a bottom-line price of about $39,000 for the top Limited model with a few options like the nav system, the Avalon costs more than the Lexus ES 350.
Although Toyota doesn't want to think you’d also cross-shop the Lexus, there’s no reason not to.
Compared to the Avalon, the ES has a similar feel, with a very quiet interior and smooth, sophisticated powertrain character.
The Lucerne and the Azera favor comfort over performance, and both have 3.8-liter V-6 engines that aren't as responsive as the Taurus.
The Lucerne is also available in Super trim, which adds a 292-horsepower, 4.6-liter V-8.
The Taurus offers a slightly more performance feel (an SHO performance version is available), but its real strength is safety—it’s probably the top-rated large sedan, all considering, for safety.
Some shoppers might like the redesign the Taurus received for 2010, but the seating position and backseat room take a turn for the worse according to some.
Another alternative is the Chrysler 300, which comes in an economical rear-wheel-drive base model or with all-wheel drive in upscale Touring trim.
The 300 might not be as appealing to the crowd that favors ride comfort and space above all else; it's less roomy inside and not nearly as refined and quiet, though there’s a powerful HEMI V-8 offered.
