Don't underestimate this little POWERHOUSE
Source: MSN Autos

...Truly the Poor mans Porsche Overall: I would like to have the TURBO. but I have plans to do a ram air for a little boost... other than that i would keep the car forever... I am getting the wheels from a swift gt so I have enough rubber to keep it on the ground and the swaybar from the swift helps it hug the turns.. my car loves to be driven and has never let me down.. I laugh as I pass the gas stations as I get 450 miles per tank of fuel.. ONE hint..Use Premium fuel...the car deserves the best for the fuel economy it delivers..it runs on the other stuff but those who complain about sluggish...

Sweet Ride

...the transmission is pretty smooth shifting, and it isn't too bad on the highway...fairly good on gas, but the myriad squeaks and rattles slowly are driving me insane! Cons: - Mysterious squeaks and rattles - Tilt steering adjusted to where I wanted it to and refused to ever work again! - Rear wiper and spray cleaned window once, and once only! Overall: Great 'starter' car...not bad for the highway and (considering the original paint is still amazing and shiny!) its great for in-city cruising...not a whole lot of rear seat room (more than a 1991 Nissan 240SX a.k.a. the Dungeon), and it could...

Nice for the money but some weaknesses
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: Nice styling, elegant, all the amenities, reasonable price,
swift soft and smooth a nice cruiser Cons: Too much of a camry is visible in the interior,
although swift could use another 50 hp, gas mileage average Overall: Excellent price to value, luxurious, deep inside a toyota , thus will go on forever...

Very Review
Source: Cars.com

..."The car now has 120,000 miles and I have only had to have the trany fixed one time.
I was very hard on it as I found I could spin the tires in 3 gears and race with Mustangs and Cameros due to the high power to weight ratio, thanks to the cars 1,800 pounds.
Other than that the car is GREAT and still gets appox 40 MPG today."...

Excellent commuter

...Cons: back seat windows have trouble de-fogging. I dont care for the way the clutch is set up, too soft. Overall: I have had this car for over a year now and have been pleased with its performance from day one. Great gas mileage and reliability have been very nice. Considering the engine size as well the car seems to be very swift. The clutch is a little tricky to figure out but is ok after you have driven it for awhile. It sometimes is hard to shift from 2nd to 3rd when passing. Im finding that to be an integera quirk and not a worn clutch after talking to several people about it...

Black Streak
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: This car performs well for the horsepower. It is swift on the straight aways.
It has some lean in the corners, but does not slip when in dry conditions.
Cons: Tends to spin the tires on hard acceleration.
slips badly in snowy conditions. Needs more interior lights.
Engine could be more balanced and spin easier to the six grand red line.
Overall: Good Car, has a reliable engine. Very few problems eccept for the cooling system. Shifting could be smoother. Makes hard for speed shifts...

LET 'EM LAUGH
Source: MSN Autos

...I've owned many cars (more than 30) in my lifetime, and there is something appealing about a car that is simple, dependable, and accomplishes its mission with little fanfare. Gas Stations are nearly a memory...450 miles between fillups. Cons: Interior finishes are inexpensive...but this is a cheap car. Overall: Alittle light and a lot small around SUV's...BUT if you love motor cycles and are too old or to careful or don't appreciate a steady diet of insects and diesel fumes...this car is a lot safer and even though it's far from macho...it won't let you down. I say, LET 'em laugh! You're an...

Swift

...Pros: Very sporty, reliable, fuel economic car. moderate handling, but fun to drive.
Cons: Nissan stopped making the car that I loved before I could get my hands on the model that I wanted, the se-r.
Overall: I think that Nissan could've improved on the car to get more people to buy it, rather than making a hybrid of the car(the sentra SE-R).
When I drive around, I see alot of 200's. Alot of them driven by young and older women, and younger kids.
They should've given the car a chance. rather than scrapping it after only 3 years of it being brought back into production...
