My Second Subaru Wagon
Source: Edmunds

...I've owned 2 Subaru Wagons for 18 years. I've found them to be reliable & easy to handle, especially the range of the steering wheel.
The cargo area is quite attractive with the cover to conceal all items.
I have always maintained my vehicles be- cause I dread having my car break down in the middle of nowhere.
I also have a complete record of all maintenance & repairs to this vehicle for anyone to peruse.
My most recent maintenance included brake work and oil change.
The tires are in good condition & are con- stantly rotated in order to keep them balanced. A wagon...

..."Great Car, most bang for ur buck. Rivals BMW's or Audi's. Theses cars are fast and handle great in all kinds of weather. Also highly upgradable."...

A sports car disguised in a wagon
Source: Cars.com

...It is well equipped with a 6CD in dash player, heated seats, defrost rear view mirrors, and defrost element at the bottom of the windshield. It handles any snow very well. The car has 45000 miles and has only been to the shop for regular maintenance. My main complains are(1) Not very comfortable for long distance because steering wheel is not telescopic and seating is very low like in a sports car (2) car requires premium gas because of the turbo. Gas mileage depends very much from the driving style. I managed to get up to 28 mpg on long highway trip. This is one of the prettiest and fastest...

...Have the car for a few weeks now and enjoy driving it.
Had a 94 Legacy before, and like the workmanship that goes into the Subaru line.
Car is peppy, drives like it should... not a comfy as a sedan, but not as choppy as a SUV.
Consumer rating was 8.7 when I wrote this, but rating should be higher if you add up the ratings.
Mistake here I think. Make sure if the offer you an extended warranty/service plan that you negociate HEAVILY or dont get it at all.
Watch out for the "scare technique". Overall I am very happy with the purchase. These cars can get expensive but if...

Great 4 door Sport Car
Source: Cars.com

..."This is one of the best cars I have ever owed, loved the power, loved the way the car drove, love the way it looked.
I did not like the fact that the back seat did not fold down, and the leather interior did not hold up was well as I hoped. If you are planning on buying a GT get it in a 5sp"...

best bang for the buck
Source: Cars.com

..."I bought this car in May of 2005. I have maintained it carefully and it has never failed me.I now have 87,000 miles on it.
I have taken this car on the track and drive it very aggressively.
It has been fantastic car to own. I enjoy driving it in any weather.
The AWD system is excellent. The turbo is well designed with very little lag.
I have surprized many people with the speed and agility of this car.
I would recommmed the car to anybody who wants to have a sporty 4 door and does not want to pay 40,000 or more. I bought the car for $27,500 and get my money worth...

05 Legacy GT- Ultimate performance saloon
Source: Cars.com

..."The best peformance saloon on the market and exceptional value when compared to the competition.
I test drove all of the competition and a number of cars from Germany and luxury manufacturers and for the price,
features, handling and performance nothing comes close unless you are willing to spend another $10000
!Reliability is excellent and the security of its AWD
and LSD make it a very practical and safe long term
proposition. The 5 speed transmission makes the most of the cars performance as well as allowing for excellent fuel economy when the situation requires."...

A mistake so far
Source: Edmunds

...I purchased my Subaru Legacy 2.5i exactly three months ago.
I have put 1500 miles on it. It has been a dissapointment to say the least.
It has had numerous rattles in the interior, engine trouble when starting, fuzzy radio reception, and a broken heater and air conditioner.
However, I do think it is a fine looking car. I would caution anyone considering this car to look at a more reliable option.
This is a totally redone model for 2005 and there are plenty of problems that Subaru needs to work out.
I would encourage anyone who has looked at this car to wait until...

Great Car Skip the Automatic
Source: Edmunds

...Love the lines and the style of the car, bought mine used with 70,000 miles on it.
First few hours i owned it the transmission sensors failed...
fine cars have issues sometimes. later on started to notice electrical issues with the lighting dimming on its own or the radio controls not working when you hit the buttons.
in the past year , i have replaced the turbo, the ac condensor because it seized and shredded all the belts and tore through the electrical,
the transmission had to be rebuilt, and now the wheel bearings are going....
I must have gotten a lemon.... Love...
