Love My Saturn
Source: Cars.com

..."Bought a new SL1 back in 96 and it hasn't let me down.
When I take it to the mountains ( I live in the flat Midwest) it balks, but for routine purposes it is wonderful. Barely costs me a thing to keep it running and has never let me down."...

Amazing for the year...

..."My parents bought my 1992 Saturn in 1991 when the model first came out.
We got it fully loaded, with sunroof, and power everything.
I still have it today (summer 2007) and I still get amazing gas mileage.
We replaced everything two years ago, but nothing was wrong...I just wanted everthing alright to go on a long trip. The car has almost 200,000 miles on it, and it hasn't given up yet!!"...

Full of problems
Source: Cars.com

..."My SL1 was a problem from day one. A head gasket problem a year.
And the body couldn't handle NA winters. Rust, rust, and more rust! It was comfortable and good on gas but I couldn't afford to keep fixing the engine."...

"Herbie-esque" Car

My First Car in College
Source: Cars.com

..."i had bought this car at the start of school. i loved it so much
!! it was great with gas and it had pretty good handling fo rthe snow in wisconsin.
i had no problems with it untill i went into a ditch with it in michigan.
the car looked fine on the outside after it got out of the ditch but it actually had about $4,000 worth of damage done to it. none of the people in the car got hurt. i wish i still had it...

Great Milage even with high miles!
Source: Cars.com

...This car has 185K miles on it and the repairs are very inexpensive. One problem that I have is the molding around the inside of the drivers side window is hanging down. But that is nothing that a little super glue can't fix. A new clutch for this particular car would cost only $300 for parts and labor. But after 15 years this car doesn't need it. I bought this car in 2006 for only$750. Maybe I just got lucky. I am convinced that this is the best car for anyone.(You need to learn how to drive a stick..It's fun)"...

Best 1st car
Source: Cars.com

..."I got this as a 1st car on my 16th birthday, and its awesome.
I am the second owner. I didnt want anything other than a saturn.
I got it with 95k MI. I've never had any problems with it at all, still runs great.
Its been very reliable, I've only done regular maintainance for it. I like to drive in it because it looks sporty and just looks cool."...

Best gas mileage and it's reliable
Source: Cars.com

..."My parents gave me this car when it had about 130,000 miles on it.
It's had a valve knock since about 70,000 and everyone thinks it's dying - It has just about 180,000 miles on it now, it gets 38-44 miles per gallon with the cruise on - and driving at 55-60mph.
I've only had to replace wheel bearings and the exhaust (but what can you expect from living in NY?).
Other than that she doesn't cost me a thing. It also handles great in the snow and bad weather, which makes up about 80% of the year here in upstate NY.
The only downfall is she's lacking power. But, if you want a...

Best car I've owned so far.
Source: Cars.com

..."Let's face it, Saturn isn't exactly a glamorous car.
Also, an old Saturn really doesn't hold its value well.... But if you want to get from point A to point B cheaply, reliably, and with just a little flare this car is for you!...

My mom's Saturn now mine
