An honest LW300 review

...Cons: Had problems with heater core gasket and the computer totally went out on the car in the first 10,000 miles. It was free to fix since it was under warranty. No problems since. Also, it took about 12,000 miles to break in the engine. It still doesn't get more than 21 mpg even with 50/50 split between city and hwy driving. The gas pedal is too close to the breaks. Overall: I would buy another one, although I would buy it used, about 2 years old so all the bugs were hopefully out of it, and I would save $10,000 (it doesn't hold it's value very well)...

Most Reliable Car I've Owned
Source: Cars.com

..."Since 3+ years the best and most reliable car I've ever owned.
Saturn has great staff, friendly and helpful, and every yearly maintenance check is a pleasure to me.
Even the oil change makes me feel like a really valued customer. I am totally satisfied with the car and the service."...

Saturn, as always, delivers on its promise
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: Reliable -- seemingly effortless handling while driving, great braking power, good looks, lots of room.
Cons: When A/C is on, difficult to speed up (i.e. getting onto the freeway). Overall: Great car to drive. It gives me the spaciousness of an SUV without having to drive one...

Comfortable and Sharp Family Ride!

...Pros: Cargo room is awesome! Cons: Not enough room for CD's near the CD player - a minor detail.
Overall: Sharp styling, tight handling and good MPG! A winner over my previous Dodge Caravan with my two kids!...

Great midsize Wagon
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: This is a good car for the money. I've had my 2002 LW200 for 4 years and 125,000 miles, and it has never left me stranded.
The side airbags, traction control and ABS are standard in 2002, providing an even better value for the money.
Cons: The only 2 downsides to this car is it does not have folding side mirrors and the resale value is not very good.
If you drive a car forever, though, resale doesn't matter. Overall: This is a great car, and is an outstanding value for the money. I recommend it to everybody...

My Saturn LW200 Wagon
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: loaded with leather and nice accessories, engine runs great, has never not started even on some -25 degree days in Fargo, and it's cost me almost nothing in repairs.
Cons: cabin noise Overall: Overall, I'd give the car a solid 8. Mechanically, it's a 10, the interior is a 7.5, but the exterior lacks sleek lines and has a plastic feel to it...

Great Car for Families
Source: MSN Autos

...A/C - Heater can take getting used to. No place to put purse, but there is always back seat. Overall: Love our dealership, w/lifetime car washes on our Saturn, what is not to love! Sturdy reliable vehicle, good gas milage, good performace, feels safe, drives safe, Didn't cost an arm & leg. I feel secure driving my 2 year old around town in this. Husband was able to easily get car seats installed properly, had it inspected by P.D. & they said it was one of best installs they had seen. Saturn will do it for you too. Easy for shorter drivers to get kids & stuff into and out of this car, SUV's...

Excellent

...Pros: I love this car! There is very little about the car that I do not like.
It handles great, looks great, and is fun to drive.
Cons: There is very little that I do not like. Like most vehicles, the seats become a little uncomfortable riding in on a long trip.
Overall: I would recommend a Saturn vehicle to anyone. The service and support system from day #1 has been outstanding...

Thinking midsize SUV - Think LW300 Insead!
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: Great handling, styling and comfort! Cons: Power window control for front seat passengers is in an awkward location, can hear gas sloshing around in gas tank.
Overall: Love this vehicle. Was looking at mid size SUVs (Saturn Vue, Ford Escape, etc) The LW300 has more room and more luxury options for the money!...
