Our RoundaboutSource: MSN Autos...We went from an Trailblazer EXT with 2 wheel drive to this car with no real regrets. Our dealer went away with the GM reduction of car lines but find our Chevy dealer welcomes us. We have had only one problem witht the gas cap door and it was taken care of quickly. Cons: I miss a few of the extras we had before like a power outlet in the rear, a little more room for luggage, power tilt steering wheel, power seats. Overall: We knew we were downsizing but we liked the price since our trade in was a 2003 SUV. We already have a Saturn coupe from 2002 that has been problem free and Saturn... |

Stylish and PracticalSource: Edmunds...It has all I need in transportation at this point in my life. Stylish and economical (34mpg on the road) 27 around town with the 4 speed automatic on regular gas. I have the leather interior option and the CD40 Opera cd/radio with on board computer that makes keeping track of that fuel mileage a breeze. It is solid to drive, brakes are fantastic, firm and sure. Holds four easily and comfortably. Another surprise very little wind noise, even with the windows down. I chose the 3 door because of the length of the doors. I am 6'4" and have plenty of leg and head room. A/c is standard and... |

Saturn Astra - Fun and FrugalSource: MSN Autos...Standard safety features include 6 air bags, four disc brakes with ABS, brake assist, automatic headlights and tire pressure monitor. Cons: So far I noticed that the visibility inside is obscured by the pillars in the frond and in the middle. I find it hard to get a good overview when trying to merge traffic at a busy intersection. I guess they had to make them bigger to improve protection in case of side impact collision. There are two independent alerts for the level in the gas tank. The dashboard computer comes on with a warning saying: "Range 50km" and a count down. Once it's down to zero... |

Impressed with this carSource: Edmunds...Only problem so far is giving up the keys to the wife, I wanna drive it waaahhh! This car has put the fun back into the small car GM lineup, that the ION, Cobalt, etc. took away from all of us. When I was looking at replacing our 02 Pontiac, the Vibe and Mazda3 were on the short list. I am 6'6" tall so I won't even discuss the Hondas, either Fit or Civic because at 6'6" those things are impossible. I won't say the Astra fits me perfect but it is relatively comfortable for me. After driving the Astra I can honestly say Fun car, with sharp handling and good fuel mileage to boot. This car is... |
