Dissapointed
Source: Cars.com

..."At a glance, the Nissan Versa may seem like a good buy, I mean, it’s a Nissan, right?? Well, I've owned this car for a short time, and I'm experiencing many problems.
The steering is out of alignment, the car veers to the left in the freeway.
I also regret purchasing the 6-speed manual transmission, at 80MPH in 6th gear; the car is doing nearly 4000 RPM
!!! That is ridiculous! If you do for some reason decide to purchase this 28MPG, 120HP “GAS SAVER”, go for the convenience package with ABS and a CVT.
But if you haven’t bought this car do a little more research...

My last Nissan purchase EVER
Source: Cars.com

...This car was my 3rd Nissan, I've owned a Sentra and a 240SX. I am already on the hunt for my next car and I promise, it won't be a Nissan!PROS~ good gas mileage, I get about 28 for my mostly highway commute.~ relatively inexpensive. I think they have come way down in price since I got mine.~ roomy interior. Until I had a baby! I had to find a small carseat to fit behind me so I wasn't kissing the steering wheel! When I need to take the stroller, nothing else will fit in the back with it.~ it does have some get up and go...

40 Mpg inexpensive commuter
Source: Cars.com

...I have to exercise my arm just a bit to manually lower the window at drive thru's and garage gates...and I had to manually adjust my side view mirrors when I first picked the car up...big deal...oh yes...one thing is that I have to remember to manually lock each door when getting out of the car...again these are minor things...and if you are willing to live with them...you can get yourself a nice, reliable car for less than a regularly used one. Power is fine...no you will not win any drag races with it, but I regularly do 75-85 on my commute and the car has no problem keeping up with...

Nissan Tiida Or Versa Excellent Car For Anyone.......
Source: CarGurus

...Solid and easy to drive. 1.6 ltr acceleration is quiet bad.
Takes some time even if the pedal is touching the floor.
Interior legroom is very good compared to any other small sedan.
Interior plastics have a solid feel. Seatings are excellent.
When gained speed will not feel to reduce it. Good handling through curves, even at high speeds. Does not feel it is a small car in terms of handling...

Nice roomy econobox, no problems to date
Source: Cars.com

..."The little Versa hatchback is a solid, amazingly roomy ride with real comfort for 4 full sized adults.
I am used to far more horsepower, but it has no problem doing anything we SHOULD be doing with a car.Mileage is pretty good,
23 to 25 local driving & low 30's on the highway with no effort towards trying for good mileage on my part.If you are looking for the above features at a price that most can easily afford, drive one

I pretty much love this car
Source: Cars.com

...The ride and handling are far better than all of the other cars in this class. Also, the interior space this car offers is amazing! I am 6'4" and I am very comfortable in the front and back seats. I can't forget to mention how quiet the cabin is too. When I drive it, I sometimes forget that I paid under $15000. The performance isn't exactly sporty, but you can say it's got pep; remember, the Versa is in the subcompact class, so it's not supposed to outrun the 5-0."...

Great Value

..."I bought the version that was reviewed and installed the radio myself. It was easy and cheap. The Versa may only be rated at 34 Highway but after 3 tanks of gas, I am averaging 40.04 mpg."...

I love my versa!
Source: Cars.com

..."My husband and I bought the versa last July - it's a hatchback, automatic.
It's been fantastic - tons of room for a small car.
We've actually thought about buying another one when our Toyota Corolla goes caput.
I love the way it handles and the interior finish is nice. All together spent around 15k with a 7 year premium warranty - can't be beat!"...

The Versa A Great Car For The Price.
Source: CarGurus

...I think it's the best car in its class for what I need, as much interior room as possible.
I have to put 3 kids in the back. Performance is ok, could use a turbo.
To be honest, it's ugly. It shows too much Renault in the styling.
I think it's better looking than the Sentra. Hopefully a little aftermarket bolt ons will fix that.
As for fuel mileage, it's alot better than the Quest I used to have. I don't have to put premium in it either...

Excellent Value/Best in Class
Source: Cars.com

...It beat the competion on space ( I am 6ft 3+)and performance for the intended use of single person commuting on suburban and interstate roads. I had real reservations since my existing car was a 2.4 Turbo PT Cruiser doing 17 mpg. I need not have worried. There is no noticable performance difference with one person but twice the MPG. Performance with 3 or 4 people is more than adequate. Build quality appears to be excellent so far. Controls easy to use. I have always prefered stick to auto but not any more CVT is the way to go. Only had the car just over a week so reliabilty verdict is still...

Why should I also consider these?

Hands down, the best vehicle in this smallest, cheapest class of cars is the Honda Fit.

The Fit is admittedly more expensive than the rest, and it's only available as a hatchback, but it feels sporty and substantial on the road, with good safety, responsive performance, and an excellent Magic Seat arrangement in back that trumps ordinary fold-forward arrangements.

The Chevrolet Aveo is the other pick of the bunch for ride quality, but the Aveo has unimpressive fuel economy and safety.

The Toyota Yaris has the best fuel economy, at up to 36 mpg highway, but it doesn’t feel as roomy or refined.

Kia's Rio and Rio5 hatchback feel sportier than the rest of the crowd, as does the xD.

At a bargain price that’s not much more than stripper econoboxes, the 2008 Scion xD is a pretty hot little hatch.

2008 Toyota Yaris
The 2008 Toyota Yaris is one of the cheapest, and cheapest to run, of all new vehicles.
