DissapointedSource: Cars.com
..."At a glance, the Nissan Versa may seem like a good buy, I mean, it’s a Nissan, right?? Well, I've owned this car for a short time, and I'm experiencing many problems. |

My last Nissan purchase EVERSource: Cars.com...This car was my 3rd Nissan, I've owned a Sentra and a 240SX. I am already on the hunt for my next car and I promise, it won't be a Nissan!PROS~ good gas mileage, I get about 28 for my mostly highway commute.~ relatively inexpensive. I think they have come way down in price since I got mine.~ roomy interior. Until I had a baby! I had to find a small carseat to fit behind me so I wasn't kissing the steering wheel! When I need to take the stroller, nothing else will fit in the back with it.~ it does have some get up and go... |

40 Mpg inexpensive commuterSource: Cars.com...I have to exercise my arm just a bit to manually lower the window at drive thru's and garage gates...and I had to manually adjust my side view mirrors when I first picked the car up...big deal...oh yes...one thing is that I have to remember to manually lock each door when getting out of the car...again these are minor things...and if you are willing to live with them...you can get yourself a nice, reliable car for less than a regularly used one. Power is fine...no you will not win any drag races with it, but I regularly do 75-85 on my commute and the car has no problem keeping up with... |

Nice roomy econobox, no problems to dateSource: Cars.com
..."The little Versa hatchback is a solid, amazingly roomy ride with real comfort for 4 full sized adults. |

I pretty much love this carSource: Cars.com...The ride and handling are far better than all of the other cars in this class. Also, the interior space this car offers is amazing! I am 6'4" and I am very comfortable in the front and back seats. I can't forget to mention how quiet the cabin is too. When I drive it, I sometimes forget that I paid under $15000. The performance isn't exactly sporty, but you can say it's got pep; remember, the Versa is in the subcompact class, so it's not supposed to outrun the 5-0."... |

Great ValueSource: Cars.com..."I bought the version that was reviewed and installed the radio myself. It was easy and cheap. The Versa may only be rated at 34 Highway but after 3 tanks of gas, I am averaging 40.04 mpg."... |

The Versa A Great Car For The Price.Source: CarGurus
...I think it's the best car in its class for what I need, as much interior room as possible. |

Excellent Value/Best in ClassSource: Cars.com...It beat the competion on space ( I am 6ft 3+)and performance for the intended use of single person commuting on suburban and interstate roads. I had real reservations since my existing car was a 2.4 Turbo PT Cruiser doing 17 mpg. I need not have worried. There is no noticable performance difference with one person but twice the MPG. Performance with 3 or 4 people is more than adequate. Build quality appears to be excellent so far. Controls easy to use. I have always prefered stick to auto but not any more CVT is the way to go. Only had the car just over a week so reliabilty verdict is still... |

Hands down, the best vehicle in this smallest, cheapest class of cars is the Honda Fit.
The Fit is admittedly more expensive than the rest, and it's only available as a hatchback, but it feels sporty and substantial on the road, with good safety, responsive performance, and an excellent Magic Seat arrangement in back that trumps ordinary fold-forward arrangements.
The Chevrolet Aveo is the other pick of the bunch for ride quality, but the Aveo has unimpressive fuel economy and safety.
The Toyota Yaris has the best fuel economy, at up to 36 mpg highway, but it doesn’t feel as roomy or refined.
Kia's Rio and Rio5 hatchback feel sportier than the rest of the crowd, as does the xD.
