Not A Penalty Box.
Source: CarGurus

...Cheap to own, very spacious inside, quick steering and jumpy throttle make it fun to drive.
Not something you'd take around the Nurburgring, and it has all the sex appeal of a shoe. But hey, it's my wife's so I don't have to drive it everyday. Still miss my BMW though...

New to Me!
Source: Cars.com

..."I usually buy used cars, But was taken by this 2008 Versa when it called out my name and said buy!
Though I am not yet at 1000 mi. I have no buyer's remorse and am thoroughly pleased.
Comfort, mpg, turning radius (best in any car I have ever owned - and that's more than 45 years' worth) roomy trunk for such a small car,
roomy back seat, too.Too new to make a judgement on reliability- but fored to by this site."...

Awesome.

...I'm 6'6, and I didn't think I'd fit in this car, but I do.
It goes fast when needed to and has an incredible turning radius. I love it, except for not having a mp3 Cd player. Would recommend it without the mp3 player anyway. For the price, its wonderful...

Tres Bien

..."I have read all the positive reviews and being the
owner of a 2008 Versa hatchback I would like everyone to Google "Renault Clio Hatchback" so you can see that this car has been around for some time in France.
.I owned one back in 1996 when I was an expat there.
Love the new "Clio" just as I did the old one. Nissan and Renault Car have a commercial cooperation and we are now seeing the benefits in the US."...

BRAKE FAILURE
Source: Cars.com

...With all-around air bags, it has to be safer. The Versa (with CVT transmission) is probably capable of doing around 150 miles per hour, and is quite good on the road. HOWEVER...Back to my brakes. For about a week or more, the power assist on the brakes totally failed. There were two situations where it almost created a problem for me. I would not let my 17 year old 125 pound daughter drive the car. Nissan had factory technicians look at the car, and they could not find a problem.I wrote them another letter, and some little girl, with no knowledge of cars, calls me to talk to me. The...

for a small car I was pleasantly surprised
Source: Cars.com

..."purchased this car as a third vehicle to run errands around town for my wife and myself when gas was way up there.
The car is so comfortable and fun/easy to drive we find we use it most of the time for most of our driving. I'm 6'2" and have pleanty of room with seating and we enjoy the up graded XM radio."...

Fun to drive
Source: Cars.com

..."I am delighted with my Versa. I live in the South so I use the air conditioning almost constantly and do a lot of around town driving.
I still get between 29-30 miles per gallon. The seating in front and back accommodate a 6 foot man with quite long legs.
He says he's comfortable riding in front or in the back. The car is responisve and just fun to drive. I have the SL with the upgrades associated with it and find the car a pleasure to drive."...

Its Beter Than The Smart Car, Fit,and Yaris; Cheaper Too
Source: CarGurus

...this car was built for the small entry level "psuedo K-car" market in the US.
It get the best real world MPG in its class and has the most passenger room. its also the least expensive of the other cars in its class. I like it...

Nice Car
Source: Cars.com

..."I drove my 2009 SL hatchback from Florida to Minnesota last week.
The high point of this car is the CVT transmission.
Extremely smooth. I set the cruise on 75 going through Tennessee mountains and it purred up and down the interstate.
Incredibly smooth ride. You never hear or feel the shifting.
Plenty of power in the 1.8 around town and on the freeway.
This car takes a bit of getting used to. You have to feel the your way into braking. The first couple days I was jerky on the gas and brakes. Then got the hang of how it needs to be driven...
