Nice Wheels
Source: Edmunds

...Just purchased my first foreign car. Built in Tennessee, it is more American than most domestics.
Impressive looks and nice, punchy driving experience.
Beware the Bluetooth, capability is limited. Great music options and great gas mileage.
Really looks great, something I thought I'd never see in a Japanese designed automobile, especially in this segment...

Awesome car
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: I drive very aggressively and this car can handle the punishment.
Its fast for a 4banger, I beat many stock cars. Top speed is around 120 with a short ram but in high winds. Cons: Paint chips. Overall: Love this car!...

CRAPPIEST Car I ever owned
Source: Edmunds

...I bought the 2009 Altima in March 2009. It is by far the CRAPPIEST car I ever owned (among 10+ cars).
Extremely noisy cabin, gas-alcoholic, rides uncomfortably, issues with transmission, touchy brakes, cheaply-made interior, seals already weathered, very noisy while accelerating, etc, etc.
... and not to mention the much higher insurance-premiums Nissan owners have to pay for such a piece of crap.
CVT is totally worthless - it truly subtracts any little value this vehicle has.
The only positive attribute I can talk about is the style of the car,
and outside...

Great Car, I miss it!
Source: Edmunds

...I bought this car used at 62K miles and loved it, until it was recently totaled at 150K.
Everything was great, except for a few problems as its mileage got higher.
Had to have a throttle replaced and it was about 800, but that was really the only major problem.
It was needing a new alternator and a new shift lock, but I fixed those myself. Everything else was AWESOME! And airbags deployed and engine shut off automatically...great safety features...

My 17-year-old car
Source: Cars.com

..."I'm looking to get rid of my 1995 Nissan Altima and maybe get a 2001 or 2005 Nissan Altima.
I really enjoy my old car but I can no longer keep
it maintained anymore like I used to and part of the
reason is the fact that I am financing a 2007 Nissan
Altima for my wife.I've had this car for 6 years and it has never given me any major problems it's very good on gas it has a very strong engine and transmission.
I already have about 200k miles on it and it's still going but I have to get something new."...

I dont like this car

..."Ive had the same car in the past and it kept breaking down all the time. I spent more money fixing it than what i paid for the car at the dealer. I wouldnt recommend this car to anyone. I hated it."...

Proud Owner
Source: Edmunds

...I love my new 2011 Nissan 2.5s Sedan. The only thing I'm upset about is the engine makes somewhat of an ugly noise, however, it goes away once the CTV engine 'warms up'.
I don't get 23 MPG, I get about 20 city, still haven't put it on a highway yet.
Having said that, it really is a clean looking, nice car for the money.
More importantly, I think the look will last, while other models will look odd in years to come, like the Sonata.
I did test drive other cars, including Camry and Accord.
Neither of them were as nice to drive as the Altima. Furthermore, neither had the...

Edmonds pays off again
Source: Edmunds

...My son re3ceived this car as a gift. It was very clean for the age.
As soon as he got it he did an Edmonds review and this is what happened: He ordered a direct bolt on stainless steel racing header from optionimports on e bay motors,
The main cat had already been removed. We eliminated the orig header/manifold which contains the problem pre-cat and the header went right on.
Upon further examination of the car it looked like the engine had been replaced.
Tell tale signs were the junkyard yellow marker markings on the side of the engine.
Car body has 90,000 miles-after...

2.5S w/special edition pkg.
Source: Edmunds

...This seems to be a solid car. Got it a month ago and have 1000 miles on it.
No complaints. Gas mileage is 26 mpg which is in town and rural combined. My v6 accord got 21 mpg for the same type driving. Overall a very good car...

Why should I also consider these?

There's really something for everyone in the thickly populated field of mid-size sedans, but you have to examine your priorities.

The Ford Fusion is one of the sportier-driving mid-size sedans and has great handling; it's also well-built and offers impressive fuel economy in four-cylinder form.

What's more, its Hybrid version is offered in all 50 states and boasts 41 mpg on the highway.

Most shoppers in this class place some prominence on interior space, and for that the best vehicles are the Accord, Sonata, Opima, and Camry.

The freshly redesigned Hyundai Sonata and Kia Optima are standouts in this class, with roomy interiors, impressive refinement, and excellent fuel economy.

But the Camry's interior is a bit bland and feels cheap in execution.

For safety, the Accord stands on top (it's an IIHS Top Safety Pick).

However, against any of these models, the Altima comes across as well rounded and sporty.

Versus the Nissan Altima Coupe, the only formidable rival is the Honda Accord Coupe; comparing the two, the Accord Coupe feels less sporty—it's more of a luxurious freeway cruiser, while the Altima Coupe is a little more cramped and less refined, but friskier-feeling.

2011 Ford Fusion
The 2011 Ford Fusion comes in a few finely developed flavors; Sport, Hybrid and base are a few of the best tastes.

2011 Honda Accord Sedan
Though the 2011 Honda Accord is missing Bluetooth connectivity on the more affordable trims, it’s a very compelling package otherwise, with top-notch refinement, performance, and comfort.

2011 Hyundai Sonata
The 2011 Hyundai Sonata takes some smart styling and performance risks to raise its profile.

2011 Kia Optima
Kia simply gets it; basic doesn't have to be boring, and the 2011 Kia Optima shows that mid-size sedan shoppers don't have to settle to design boredom or a lack of features.

2011 Toyota Camry
The 2011 Toyota Camry isn’t at the leading edge in any way, but it remains one of the smartest mid-size sedan picks.
