I hate my C350 qualitySource: Edmunds...The car stayed over night to get some engine part replaced. A month later, I had break lights turn on due to corrosion. Another issue was a delay with car taking off, as i would press down on the accelerator the RPM would shoot up but the car wouldnt go. I took the car several times the first year, the dealer ship wasnt able to fix a few things until i escalated the issue to the dealer ship manager at Beshoff in San jose.I have taken in my car over 15 times due to repeating problems. BMW quality is much better... |

Great Car with style but expensive to maintain.Source: Cars.com...But then again who knows what the old owner did to this care when I bought it. They are not cheap either. I would recommended that you bring it to Mercedes dealer not to any small shop as one small mistake can cost you more money. But other than that performance is great!. Luxury looking that people look at you have money even though you are broke (haha). I would say mercedes are great car as I am always a fan of this car since I was young. Just make sure you maintain them and due your regular maintenance performance on it. By the way Hoffman Estates Illinois Mercedes dealer is highly... |

Great Car!Source: Cars.com...Brand new leftover bought in 2010, at $12k off the sticker price! Bought it for my wife, I drive a BMW 5 series. This is our 2nd c class and by far this is the best handling car I've ever driven. I've owned 3 MB's, 3 BMW's, 2 corvette's and a twin turbo supra and this at least equals or exceeds their capabilities with the addition of plenty of luxury, a rear seat big enough for my 2 small children, and a reasonable trunk. I love the pana roof and the multi media option is great! Ride is firm but ok for everyday driving, even in NYC. Only gripe so far is a persistant "correct tire pressure"... |

Best C yet, though definitely no BMWSource: Cars.com..."This isn't a BMW, which seems to be the source of many negative reviews. If you want a sport sedan that puts the emphasis on sport, save yourself the trouble and get a BMW 3 series... |

Car falling apart on the way home.Source: Cars.com...Little did I know. When arriving home we noticed that a chunk of rubber was sticking out above the drivers's door. Well, we could have checked the car more thoroughly ourselves which we somehow didn't. Second thing: a little piece of carpet inside (between passenger seat and center) was missing too. Ok, so we drove back. Guess what? No mechanics there. No big deal. Let's bring it in during the week. We are getting home again: Boom, there comes number three: The long rubber piece below the driver's door came off. Now, our afternoon is ruined. Come on, Mercedes. I always loved your cars and I... |

Because of the two distinct models, the Sport and the Luxury, the 2009 Mercedes-Benz C-Class appeals to two types of buyers.
The Luxury model, with its expanded list of standard conveniences, trumps the base Lexus IS model with a better, more balanced driving experience and a quiet interior that allows more generous front seating.
The Sport takes a more pronounced turn toward edgier performance-oriented rivals like the 3-Series and G35 without forgetting its luxury base.
The Sport provides handling prowess that's nearly as satisfying as the 3-Series and G35, although its steering isn't as sharp as the Infiniti's.
The Audi A4 offers an especially frugal yet peppy base engine, a turbocharged four-cylinder in its 2.0T model, and the new 2009 A4 provides a sportier driving experience than before.
