The Little Roadster That Aims to Please.

...Pros: I like the ease in lowering and raising the top.
The handling is excellent. For a convertible, visibility with the top up is very good.
I am averaging 29 mpg in combined city driving. Cons: After purchasing the vehicle and reading the owners manual, I was dismayed to learn that there is no spare tire and no run-flat tires.
I am afraid to take a trip of any distance for that reason and have never owned a car in 40 years of driving that did not have a spare tire.
Overall: The engine is very responsive and handling is great. Road noise is present and especially on rough...

...Excellent in every way. Comfortable, quick and fun to drive. Beautiful Car!...

Perfect.

...Finally, projector low beams instead of dumb flip up headlights.
This car looks so much better for it. The previous owner did most of the cosmetic upgrades, I chose to add a functional rollbar for safety and looks.
Overall, I'm really satisfied with this car. But like all cars, it could use more power, only 142 hp on tap here.
And a 6th gear would be nice to cut down on engine noise at highway speeds and maybe get better fuel economy from it.
Service date: 24 May 2007 to present. Gasoline used: mostly 89 octane over 4500 miles averaging 25.72. Per gallon price ranged from...

My second MX5

...Sadly sold my 1990 Generation 1 Miata a few weeks ago.
Was not sure about jumping to a generation 3 car but made the leap a few days ago. This car is a blast to drive. The only problem is driving to work. I'd rather go the other way and drive all day...

My 2007 Miata MX-5 Grand Touring

..."Just picked up my 2007 Grand Touring, Love,Love,Love it!
Drove it home & then took it for a spin on Sunday.
The weather has been bad here in NY, snow & ice, Not the best conditions for my new baby.
Can't wait for the weather to break. Car handles like a dream, pleantly of power with the 6 speed.
Sound system is incredible. Love the advanced keyless entry, no key to use. Seat are real comfortable for a small car, it's like a cockpit. Zoom, Zoom, Zoom!"...

Exceptional and Affordable
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: Power Retractable Hard Top, no loss of trunk space.
Heated Seats, Suspension Package, HID lighting, Light Chrome Accents with PRHT package Cons: center cupholders a waste of storage space.
Overall: Fast PRHT allows you to put top up or down at stoplight.
Heated Seats standard equipment. Exceptional handling and performance even better with DSC turned off.
Definitely the best version of the MX5. The harder you drive it the more you like it. As Motor Trend remarked on the test drive of the 90 it is still "The Most Fun You can Have with Your Pants On"...

Wow! What a fun drive
Source: Edmunds

...It's so much fun to drive in the Texas hill country. The 6 speed AT delivered 30 MPG on the first tank. The soft top is quick and easy to put up and down. Being 5'10", I've figured out how to get in and out without too much trouble. It has plenty of power and it hugs the road on our winding roads sharp curves. I must admit that my many of the owner reviews posted posted on this website aided in my decision to purchase the Miata. Zoom Zoom all the way into the sunset...
