I've owned 3 Chrysler van over twenty years, and owned BMWs, Cadillacs, Toyotas and this car blends so many good qualities. In 98K I've replaced the battery, plugs, and just put on the 3rd set of tires. Brakes are original. It only gets 25-26 mpg on the road but it out handles all my other cars owned (17) except the BMW. Fast, handles awesome, and gets great mileage. averaging about 22. Seats six and loaded with all the extras. Its worth the extra bucks for the grand touring model to get leather, heated seats, six disc, bluetooth, auto wipers and headlights. Granted it is smaller than other suvs and mini vans, but it drives like a sports car. The perfect small family ride. Ours even had an alpine dvd previously installed, also amazing. #10	So long 4 door sedans! Source: Cars.com ...Gas mileage is 27 on the road and 23 in town. Both Consumer Reports and Mazda under-report this figure as 21/27. The ride is smooth and it handles like a smaller car. Not at all top heavy like a full-size minivan. Mazda got it right with this one. Sadly, our Mazda5 was totaled in a car accident. Everyone, all 4 of us walked away from a front end impact going 40-45mph. Our next car, a 2012 Mazda5 Grand Touring. We are selecting a different color but find the Xenon headlights and leather interior a must for our family. We found that our Galaxy Grey w black leather interior was HOT in the summer...
