Best car I ever had!Source: Cars.com...I absolutely loved it, but it didn't have automatic locks or windows, or cruise, and the miles were starting to get a little high, so I (very impulsively, and for no better reason than a new car with a warranty and auto locks and windows) traded it in for a brand new highly-rated car a few months ago, when the dealership was offering some great deals. I hate my new car, compared to the Mazda3 I had. My new car is a great vehicle, and has more options on it, but I miss the Mazda so much and wish I had held on to it, or at least traded it in for a better Mazda3 with more features. It was so... |

2010 Mazda 3 5dr GT. Best in many classes.Source: MSN Autos...The really did a GREAT job. Trust me I did my homework. My wife has a BMW 328I and I have way more cool features. Nothing in that class comes close feature wise or Bang for your buck. Go out and get one. You will love it. Cons: I do not have any. It does everything that I am looking for and then some. Overall: Pound for pound it is the hottest deal you can get. If you love driving and want to look & Feel good doing it this is the vehicle for you... |

performance in a hatchbackSource: Edmunds...After 1000 miles of local use, we took a 4000 mile driving vacation through the Rockies and Arizona/Utah. For two people, the cargo capacity of the hatch was great. The car performed flawlessly, with plenty of power in the mountains, and easy cruising at 75+ mph on the freeways. Our average mpg over 4000 miles was 29.5, most miles at freeway cruise. Handling was crisp and confident in the mountains, and comfort was very good on long driving days. Plenty of power and speed in freeway passing situations. The more that I drive this car, the more I like it... |

Makes me smile and want to drive, CHECK, CHECK, CHECK! This car is a pure joy to drive so far. I used to want a BMW 3 series, but I now look at those cars & think to myself. BORING! Sticker $23,645. 2010 Mazda3 HatchbackSource: Edmunds
...Great car for the money. It has good power and a hint of exhaust note that make it fun to drive and it handles well. |

2010 Mazda 3 Grand Touring SedanSource: Edmunds...Car handles great for its class (suspension is a little soft for my driving style, though). Ride is good, but not great. Road noise seems excessive. Gas mileage has been good for me. So far I've averaged about 27 MPG (about 90% highway miles). I can get 30 MPG if I drive less aggressively, so I think it's very good. My wife really likes the car, too. Now she says she wants to replace her SUV with this car. I give the car high marks for its class. Compared to others in its class, the Mazda 3 wins hands down in my book... |

Mazda not HondaSource: Edmunds...drove 35 miles to dealer, picked out color and they ran my credit. The whole time i kept asking is the price $17,900 OTD. Everything went well until they took the price to the boss for the ok. he would not sell me the car for that price, THANK GOD. Two days later i went to Browning Mazda and drove the Mazda 3 Hatchback Auto. I love this car. Tyler at browning Mazda was great. I got the car OTD for $21,000. The 2010 Mazda3 has plenty of competition, but the editors from TheCarConnection.com chose these based on size, refinement, and sportiness.
Ford’s Focus is a solid choice but doesn’t offer the refinement of the Mazda3 or the availability of high-end options.
It beats the Mazda3 in fuel economy and for the convenience of a Ford dealer in every town.
The Honda Civic is likely to be the most cross-shopped with the Mazda3, and if you want a coupe, it will win out, as Mazda doesn’t offer one.
The Toyota Corolla was all-new for 2009, and while it is available in a sporty XRS package, it doesn’t compare to the Mazda3 in styling or driving fun.
If price and warranty are your primary concerns, the Hyundai Elantra continues to evolve into an attractive alternative, though it's less entertaining to drive.
