All Wheel Drive: A Very Engaging Ride
Source: Cars.com

...Except one. We test drove the standard front drive model and found it performed very well on snow and ice but decided to try an AWD model. That did it. We had never experienced such sure footed confidence in any other car before. We actually purchased the one we tested because it had the ONE option we wanted: all wheel drive. We live in Michigan but drove it to Florida the next week and that was another good experience as we braved rain, sleet and mountains effortlessly and quietly. This car has amazingly comfortable seats and is so ergonomic that we could drive for hours without fatigue. We...

Competition to the Germans
Source: Edmunds

...Got delivery of my AWD, 2011 MKZ with 102 executive package.
Took my German boss who has a BMW 550i fully loaded for a ride.
He couldn't believe it. Germans, and specially my boss are honest in their comments and are not used to giving compliments.
He was surprised to say the least. In a nutshell the car is absolutely responsive, a mix between the spark of a BMW and the handling of AWD Audi.
My boss compared it to a Mercedes E class for the ride and comfort.
The good news is what you get for the money. I cannot tell anything about reliability as the car is brand new...

2010 Lincoln MKZ

..."Stepping out of a Honda Accord into the MKZ was a world of difference.
The Lincoln is so quite, you have no wind noise what so ever.
Very comfortable ride, I see nothing wrong on this model.
Well it is much to early to have to replace anything on it, struts are supposed to cost $4,000 and so is the transmission. Hopefully it holds up well."...

2011 MKZ 2100 miles on it now
Source: Edmunds

...In addition, the dealer was able to find other incentives. MSPR was at 42K, I got mine for 34K. Very nicely equipped. I'm 6' and have plenty of legroom and with the adjustable seats, headroom is not an issue. I drive about 70% highway and 30% city. Am currently averaging 41.4 mpg on this tank. Have not gotten anything under 40 mpg. The car is very eye appealing and for that price, why get the sister car Ford Fusion? Even still, you can get one w/out the nav package for 34K. If you ask me 6K for the luxurious amenities is a no brainer. Great car, very satisfied with my purchase. Highly...

mkz, the only drawback
Source: Cars.com

..."the Lincoln used to be the flagship of the Ford Motorcompany, however, they have taken first class transport and relegated it to coach maintenance and service.
save the money and buy a fusion, after sale treatment is either the same or worse.
Most Lincoln dealers are not stand alone but are absorbed into standing Ford dealers supporting their own customer base."...

Big step up from Fusion
Source: Cars.com

..."The MKZ is much more than a gussied up Fusion, even a loaded Fusion Sport which is supposed to be it equal.
The leather interior, cooled seats, homelink, 11 speaker radio, etc are items not even available on a fusion at any price.
Speaking of price, don't let the suggested retail sway your purchase.
I bought my MKZ for almost 7K off sticker bringing it to the price of a "loaded" fusion SEL.
With the new SYNC features such as driving directions, why spend the extra $1700 for a GPS which is seldom used anyways. The base MKZ has about any feature you would really want (or...

Extremely luxurious, beautiful, PLUS sporty Car !!!
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: It has an extremely smooth, quiet ride. The interior & exterior is very appealing, and stylish.
Mine has so many really neat features !!! This is my 2nd MKZ, but this is my favorite.
Fully loaded with a reasonable price tag. It handles well in snow, and slush.
I'm a happy lady !! Cons: Nothing yet !!!! Overall: I'm a VERY HAPPY lady who would recommend this vehicle to anyone ! I just can't believe how many exciting features it has !! Terrific ride !!...

Awesome gas mpg

..."For about the price of a prius you can have comfort style and space with a solid 41 mpgs! Black metallic paint and sport chrome package make this a beautiful car. No buyers regret here."...

Comfortable Car with Nice Luxury Features
Source: Cars.com

..."I've driven the car for a little less than 600 miles and so far it has been a joy to drive because of its comfortable leather seats,
luxurious, all-enveloping with its Sync electronics with its voice activation, satellite radio, hands-free phoning, quick A/C cooling, overall good looks and solid feel.
Furthermore, that Candy Apple Red color has got to be the most beautiful shade of red that I've seen in a long time on a car although I'm noticimg more car models with it...

Why should I also consider these?

The Lincoln MKZ has some European and Asian competitors in sight, both hybrids and non-hybrids alike.

Lexus' HS 250h isn't as efficient as the MKZ and not as spacious, while the ES 350 isn't even as dynamic as the Lincoln, and has no hybrid counterpart.

The Buick Regal is more along the same lines, but has a special GS sport edition, and an eAssist model with improved gas mileage.

The latest Chrysler 300 has a 31-mpg highway rating for V-6 models, but it's substantially bigger and heavier than the MKZ, and a much crisper performer.

So is the Volvo S60, with its turbocharged editions and its available all-wheel drive.

2012 Chrysler 300
Riper and more mature, the latest Chrysler 300 has classically handsome looks and in the right versions, big rear-drive fun.

2012 Lexus ES 350
The 2012 Lexus ES 350 is a great pick for those who want a lavish interior and the latest in-car tech, but place a priority on comfort over cornering performance.

2012 Lexus HS 250h
The 2012 Lexus HS 250h offers lots of technology along with its high gas mileage, but it's not engaging to drive, nor is its level of luxury particularly spectacular.

2012 Volvo S60
The 2012 Volvo S60 family shows that sport sedans can feel edgy without giving up their leading edge in safety, design, and interior interior comfort.
