Source: Edmunds

...With 180,000 miles on it when it was totaled, I only had to replace the stock plastic radiator, and AC.
The car ran like a champ. The V8 provided plenty of power to the rear wheels during any driving situation. The handling was excellent. I am currently looking for an SC now as DD...

Sc400, Lightly Moded

...along with $300.00 worth of polyurethane bushings. Then a set of Supra TRD big brake kit. The handling is INSANE! i can easily take off ramps and on ramps at around 90mph, it carves the corners like nothing iv ever driven, Has 280HP behind it to bake it up. Its a quick snappy little number that will throw you back and wishing for more. you Turn it on and it will return the favor. Not to mention you are riding VIP style in the full leather interior with all the motorized goodies you can get. Mod list" -Supra big brake kit (front and rear) -Tein SS coil-overs -EDFC controller and dampers...

Best sport coupe anywhere
Source: Cars.com

..."I owned a 2000 SC400. Drove it for 6 years and 64,000 miles.
never had a more fun and sporty ride. I rue the day I traded it in for an SUV.
I paid 62,000 for it new, and got all of 13K in trade in 2006. Anyone that can buy a 2000 for around 10K is lucky. You will not regret your purchase."...

A gem but maybe just slightly flawed
Source: MSN Autos

...The gas mileage is dreary- I get about 16 w/ mainly city driving. 19-20 Hwy. The window motors have both gone bad and parts are VERY expensive and getting hard to find. con't below Overall: The car is front wheel drive which causes so performance probs. and makes it chew through tires(which unsurprisingly are expensive). Overall Review- All in all the car is good but very expensive to maintain, but all sports cars are going to be fairly expensive. Most all girls really like the car and are always commenting on it. It is a fun car to tool around in and the engine will last about 200k. The...
