From Jaguar to Kia Spectra with NO DisappointmentsSource: Cars.com...The excellent radio/CD player can be listened to at low levels. Noise fatigue on a long trip is minimal or non-existent.This KIA rides SMOOTHLY. It handles perfectly well for rational driving, and it handles bumps and road imperfections wonderfully. I love the way it rides, even after being used to my 4500 pound Jags.This KIA has plenty of power. It really takes off from a start, and it has plenty of passing power.I also have a Toyota Prius, which cost a little more than twice what I paid for my KIA, and I like the KIA better. I love the 80's! Gotta love pop up headlights!Source: MSN Autos...Cons: Power windows are slow and car can sometimes have an idle issue once warmed up. Has trouble at idle when stationary for more than a few minutes. Could need a carb. overhaul/cleaning. Mine has a very slight oil leak but no big deal. Overall: My Accord was purchased with over 180,000 miles for $1200 yet everything works, including the cruise, all lights and power accessories! A/C compressor needs to be changed but overall, I could only pray that our Kia feels this solid in 20 years. If you have a chance to pick one of these up do so as you won't be disappointed. Great CarSource: Cars.com...We've had it two years now and the only time something came up was we noticed right away the air conditioning wasnt working properly (it was august) We took it back in and had it looked at for free and got it fixed same day. No problems since. Great car especially for the money. We looked at Toyotas and Chevys offering the same darn car for $5000 more. The only thing I notice between our car and our friends cars is that the KIA tends to be a little bland on the inside but again with the money saved its so worth it. I'm glad we chose this car and we probably would get a KIA again."... |
