Sorento kept me very safe in Accident!
Source: Edmunds

...I bought my 2011 Sorento in June of 2011 unfortunately I only owned it until July of 2011 since I was involved in a serious accident.
I was going through a major intersection where I live when another driver made a left turn in front of me and failed to yield.
I was going 45 mph and she was going about 15-20 we had a head on collision and my car flipped twice.
I was wearing my seatbelt which saved my life but the sorento kept me very safe
!! I couldn't have been more pleased with the car in the short time I owned it. It was a shame to see such a beautiful car sold for...

Love It
Source: Cars.com

..."I've had my 2011 Kia Sorento for almost a year, having put nearly 16K miles on it, mostly from my daily commute to work.
I absolutely love this vehicle, and would recommend it to EVERYONE.
I originally started out looking at Chevrolet Equinox's, but the comparably priced models didn't hold a candle to the features of the Kia Sorento...

One year follow up
Source: Edmunds

...The car was amazing up until 6,000 miles and 5 service notifications later. We have had service letters for everything from electrical wiring to replacing every light bulb from bumper to bumper. Granted KIA has been great about fixing everything but a new car should never need a new transmission at 7k miles. Even with the new transmission we still have issues with putting the car into reverse and some random rpm surges while driving. We are also experiencing excessive raddeling in the interior and wearing of plastic components. We are chalking this up to the fact that this was one of the...

Best for your money
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: Smooth ride,no shakes or vibrations, excellent handling and good road feel.
Gas mileage much better than EPA rating. The drivers seat is roomy and you setup nice with plenty of shoulder room.
It has a pump to raise the seat. Was suprised in this price range to have an automatic day/night mirror, backup camera and heated seats.
Cons: None so far it has been an excellent buy. Overall: Try your favorite SUV in this price range and then drive the Sorento you will be very surprised at the quality and diveability as I was...

What can I say about the 2011 KIA Sorento SX..."WOW!"
Source: Edmunds

...My Husband and I were looking for a new SUV, and were sick of seeing all the "cookie cutter" and common Honda Pilots, Toyota Highlanders, RAV4's and CRV's that it seemed were everywhere.
Boring and tired looking, and their owners were looking equally boring and tired!
So we shopped and shopped. Test drove and researched.
Then after all the info was collected, we bought a new 2011 KIA Sorento SX in February.
I drive it daily, and my husband and I have been on some longish trips to Las Vegas, too.
We sold our Mazda, but this new KIA actually beats the rest when compared...

Great SUV
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: Handles well, good mileage, very comfortable, good acceleration Cons: there is a rattle in the back seat, taking it back to the dealer to fix Overall: Best SUV in mid size class.
Much better than my old Highlander that I traded in. KIA builds excellent products. Not so cheap in the interior like Toyota's...

Great Buy
Source: Edmunds

...Love this vehicle. Have driven it about 1200 miles (city and highway).
Engine has great pickup. Comfort is excellent. Very nice inside and outside styling.
A little dissappointed in the city mileage. Advertised at 19 mpg and getting 15.5-16 mpg. Highway mileage is excellent at 29 mpg. Overall an outstanding vehicle. I definitely recommend it...

2011 Sorento LX
Source: Edmunds

...I have owned my Sorento for about a month. Didn't notice a real rough ride on test drive (test model had different wheels/ tires), but the ride is horrible
!!! This isn't as some describe as a stiff ride, think more like a vehicle having about 120,000 miles on it right out of the gate.
Actually that may be better. The DFD shocks that are fitted in the SX (now on all models?) may help a little.
I will be complaining to my dealer and Kia regarding this and if unresolved I guess I will take a "bath" and trade it in for a non Kia vehicle.
This may have been my worse purchase I...

The most costly car I've ever owned!
Source: Cars.com

..."Purchased used, in 2006, was great at first, started with electrical probs.,
then at about 96k, I heard that the timing belt should be replaced,
did that, and it's all down hill from there from loosing coolant, air going out, replaced air compressor, radiator, throttle body, belts.
Still had same problems, 4k in repairs later. Couldn't wait to get rid of it. I'm done with Kia. Buyer beware!"...

I'm so happy with my new Kia!
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: I love my gorgeous black Sorento! It's roomy, comfortable, and has all the performance I could ever hope for.
To get all this for the price, Kia is the way to go. Cons: What's not to like? Overall: If I won the lottery, I would still choose Kia...
