Super value Awesome minivan!!!Source: MSN Autos...!! Cons: The only things I would change is #1 the drivers seat. I wish it would adjust down a little lower. I am tall, but it is not uncomfortable just my preferance. #2 Also my last 3 cars all had automatic locks when you put the car in drive which is a great safety feature with children. With my sedona I have to remember to lock the doors. Which is one more thing to remember but I am getting better. Overall: Super value for a quality minivan. Classy interior with leather sunroof and dvd player for 10,000 less then competition with a five star safety rating!!! Great pickup which was a... |

Get bang for your buckSource: MSN Autos...Cons: After 5000 miles of driving the sedona, I have 3 things that I feel could probably use improvement. 1. the van could use about 20 more horsespower for very steep highway hills. 2. roll down windows on the sliding doors for better fresh air flow. 3. over heavy bumps you hear slight rattling of internal panels, but with these 3 items said I just keep reminding my self about the 10-15 thousand dollars I saved versus buying other van models. I was able to buy the wife her new van(the sedona) and myself a brand new motorcycle (haha), and new furniture for our home with the savings. I can... |

Kia Sedona..a wise investmentSource: MSN Autos...shoddy paint finish, wind noise on the open road, torque steer under hard acceleration, needs more power at freeway speeds. Overall: I rate this vehicle in direct relation to what i paid for it.therefore, it gets an A -- . You get alot for the price, so I don't expect to get the level of refinement of the Toyota Sienna, which is exactly the sacrafice I made in buying this vehicle, of which I am well aware of.Kia gave me $2000.00 more for my trade, lower financing, better warranty, and more options, adding up to a total savings of about $10,000 over a comparably optioned Toyota. Gee...let's see... |

would be a second rate second carSource: MSN Autos...Up shifts are rather slushy. The seats are rather cheap. After 10 months the pasenger power seat stopped working. All of the rear seats are not easy to remove or reinstall as claimed. Replaced the windshield right away(as the dealer would not replace) someone at the dealership removed the stickers and scratch the windshield. The gas filler door had to be replaced as it would not close or open properly. The sliding doors are very hard to open. It is not as fuel efficient, about 16mpg freeway, 11mpg in town. As with all of the other dealerships we have seen in this article ours is just as... |

Puts Windstar to shameSource: MSN Autos...I intend on keeping this van for ten years and the fact that it will be under warranty for that entire period makes it nice. I like it better than the Ford Windstar which sells for a whole lot more. I have always been a Ford person but this Sedona puts the Windstar to shame. Cons: My complaint would have to be the two rear seats and the fact that they have to be removed to get any cargo room. They are a real pain to get out. Overall: I was a little worried when I bought the Sedona due to it's very low price compared to all the other Minivans. Now that I have been driving it for two years I am... |
The short-wheelbase (SWB) version of the Sedona is like no other minivan model currently offered in the United States.
Though its seating arrangement isn't as convenient as what's included in LWB models, the SWB Sedona maneuvers more easily, and it's an alternative to the smaller but more fuel-efficient Mazda5.
The Mazda5, however, handles better than the Sedona.
The Toyota Sienna matches the Honda Odyssey in terms of refinement, polish, and price.
The Sienna doesn't drive with the same enthusiastic personality as the Honda, but it's due to be replaced for 2011.
If you're shopping around but want a refined, high-quality driving experience, then the Honda Odyssey is the minivan for you.
The base Honda will be thousands of dollars more expensive than the least expensive Kia, so be prepared.
But for those simply worried about keeping the family comfortable and occupying the kids while on the road, the Dodge Grand Caravan is one of the best choices, offering storage, seating, and entertainment options not found in the Sedona.
