Bettter than my Jaguar S type?Source: Cars.com...The Amanti has a different type of ride and handling, but is equaly comfortable. The interior appointments, guage and control placement are as good or better than the Jaguar. The Amanti doesn't have the tight suspension or precision handling the S type has. The Kia has the type of ride and handling a 70's or 80's vintage Lincoln has, comfortable, but much looser and softer than what I'm used to. Braking is a little softer on the Amanti. Obviously, the Amanti doesn't have the prestige of the Jaguar, but I was tired of paying $128.00 for an oil change and having to burn premium gas. All in all... |

Don't compare to Buick, it's way better in every facet.Source: MSN Autos...Caddy's are good for name only and this isn't the 50s, I'm a smart consumer and will not be conned by GM or any other maker anymore. Yes, smart but caught on late... No one but the testers push the car to their limits and for everything I do with it, especially road trips, it's perfect for me and my family. Thanks Kia, now I know... Cons: After thinking for a couple of minutes, nothing comes to mind. Guess I can make one up, but why? Overall: It's actually a lot more than I expected. There is only one full-size competitor that can match the 2008 Kia Amanti when it comes to value and its warranty; that would be the 2008 Hyundai Azera.
Coincidence? The experts from TheCarConnection.com think not.
Many automotive shoppers don't know that Kia and Hyundai are owned by the same Korean company.
This makes for some interesting shopping possibilities, as the Hyundai Azera provides an outstanding value that wears a much more contemporary (and stylish) shape.
Equipment levels, powertrains, and warranties are nearly identical between the two.
