...The 4 cyl engine shouldn't even be manufactured. It is very underpowered. Like a fish out of water on the highway. Very rough ride. Road and wind noise drowns out conversation. Backseat is a pain. Overall: If possible only buy a Jeep if it's going to be used as a second car. Driving it on nice days, and to the beach and thru populated towns with it naked (no doors or top) is amazing. And during bad snow storms it will perform like a champ. But for daily driving it'll be rough on ur back and your wallet. I'm 6'4'' and I wouldn't recommend it for guys my height. But I've never met a girl who...

Reliable only if it's well maintained
Source: Cars.com

..."The Jeep 2000 Wranger (or in Canada marketed as the TJ Sport/Sahara) is a reliable, strong, well built car, but only if it is well maintained.
My parents purchased the car in 2000 and in 2005, they gave me the car.
Since then, the majority of problems (ranging from a burnt out windsheild wiper motor,
damages signal switch, water leaks, worn out belt, leaking radiator), I feel were the result of poor maintenance...

Very fun play toy
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: I love this little thing. It will allmost make a u turn in its own tracks.
The 6cyl. has plenty of power. 5spd trans shifts smoth and easy. Cons: Nothing Overall: I would highly recomend a Wrangler to any body looking for a fun 4x4 to play with...

Indestructable I6, Undeniably Cool Vehicle
Source: MSN Autos

...Droptop rides in the summer, every accessory you could ever want, cheap and easy to maintain and repair, available with Manual transmission. How can you not love the Jeep? Cons: Not too much room, probably the Unlimited is better for those that need tons of interior space. White oxidation (on hardtop, mirrors) and rust is ugly, but tolerable. The ride is stiff, so whiny Tinkerbell's should get an Exploder Overall: I love my Jeep. I've watched 3 Japanese brand cars in the last 2 years blow head gaskets (aluminum cyl heads and iron blocks DON'T MIX!) and cost my friends a ton of $$$,meanwhile...

TOP DOWN NO DOORS
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: FUN TO DRIVE.DOES GREAT OFF ROAD EVEN ROCK STOCK.CHEAP TO KEEP ON THE ROAD.
LOOKS TUFF.GIRLS LOVE JEEPS.LOTS OF UPGRADES OUT THERE.BEEN VERY RELIABLE.
Cons: 4 CYL A LITTLE WEAK IN 5TH GEAR ON LONG HILLS
WITH BIGGER TIRES BUT NOT THAT BIG OF DEAL.THE STOCK EXHAUST JUST KILLS THE 4 CYL.PUT A 40 SERIES FLOWMASTER ON IT.IT SOUNDS GREAT AND ITS NOT VERY LOUD AND REALLY HELPS THE PERFORMANCE.
Overall: GET ONE,TAKE OFF THE DOORS, DROP THE TOP, AND HEAD TO THE BEACH OR GO WHEELIN'.IT DOESN'T GET MUCH BETTER.DO NOT GET THE HARD TOP.ITS JUST PLAIN WRONG...

Off-road Leader
Source: MSN Autos

...Overall: Handles well on the highway, but is really capable off-road.
Great touring vehicle for those with 1 or 2 young kids, or a double date. We now have a his and hers as my wife and I decided we should buy a new 2004 Rubicon to go with our original Wrangler...

Not a confortable daily driver
Source: MSN Autos

...Long highway commuting on a daily basis with the soft top may cause hearing loss. Very poor gas mileage for a 4 cylinder. Overall: I don't think I would still have the Jeep if it was my only transportation. As a second vehicle it is great fun on the weekends and also a good back up vehicle. I think I'll be keeping mine for awhile, but should have paid the extra money for the 4.0 liter 6 cylinder. With the soft top it's probably best to park it in a garage, not out on the street. Overall it's very nice taking it to the beach and not worrying about getting stuck in the sand or the interior...

I've driven 1985 my 2000 rides much smoother.. Love it, it's a fun vehicle all around..Winter and Summer specially with the top down and no doors. Would defenetly recomend it...
