READ THISSource: MSN Autos...The 4 cyl engine shouldn't even be manufactured. It is very underpowered. Like a fish out of water on the highway. Very rough ride. Road and wind noise drowns out conversation. Backseat is a pain. Overall: If possible only buy a Jeep if it's going to be used as a second car. Driving it on nice days, and to the beach and thru populated towns with it naked (no doors or top) is amazing. And during bad snow storms it will perform like a champ. But for daily driving it'll be rough on ur back and your wallet. I'm 6'4'' and I wouldn't recommend it for guys my height. But I've never met a girl who... |

Indestructable I6, Undeniably Cool VehicleSource: MSN Autos...Droptop rides in the summer, every accessory you could ever want, cheap and easy to maintain and repair, available with Manual transmission. How can you not love the Jeep? Cons: Not too much room, probably the Unlimited is better for those that need tons of interior space. White oxidation (on hardtop, mirrors) and rust is ugly, but tolerable. The ride is stiff, so whiny Tinkerbell's should get an Exploder Overall: I love my Jeep. I've watched 3 Japanese brand cars in the last 2 years blow head gaskets (aluminum cyl heads and iron blocks DON'T MIX!) and cost my friends a ton of $$$,meanwhile... |

Not a confortable daily driverSource: MSN Autos...Long highway commuting on a daily basis with the soft top may cause hearing loss. Very poor gas mileage for a 4 cylinder. Overall: I don't think I would still have the Jeep if it was my only transportation. As a second vehicle it is great fun on the weekends and also a good back up vehicle. I think I'll be keeping mine for awhile, but should have paid the extra money for the 4.0 liter 6 cylinder. With the soft top it's probably best to park it in a garage, not out on the street. Overall it's very nice taking it to the beach and not worrying about getting stuck in the sand or the interior... |
