Excessive oil consumption

..."Our 2009 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited is consuming excessive amounts of oil.
It has 18,000 miles on it and it uses about 1 - 1.5 quarts of oil every 2 weeks.
After reading some of the posts on the internet, it looks like we are in for a battle with Chrysler.This cannot be normal, none of our other cars consume these amounts of oil.
My 1991 Ford pickup doesn't use a quart of oil in 3000 miles.All of you Jeep owners should keep a close eye on your oil levels.
You might end up with serious damage to your engine following Chrysler's note that it is normal for 1 quart of oil...

Durable car in an accident
