jaaaaaaaaaaaagggggg........Source: MSN Autos...Cons: transmission needs work, mine was replaced after three trys. my car is a 03, but the same as a 05 as per the specs. I just turned 40,000 miles........my wife has a new clk, the jag is the one we use when we go out together.the nav system is superb, easy to use and very accurate. my lease is up soon, the one thing that keeps me from wanting to buy it out, is the fact it will cost an arm and a leg to keep it when you are paying for service when the warranty runs out, I am considering buying another, over the BMW 325 or a lexus of equal size Overall: good, real good... |

Extreamly Fun to DriveSource: Cars.com...AWD is a dream during winter, and we get good snow in Salt Lake City. Use the J-Gate Auto-Manual and let it pull 7000 RPM and have fun as you go thru all 5 gears. The 3.0 24 Valve V6 just sings. So much car for the money! Everyone says Ford hurt the Value of this vehicle. Ford improved and made this vehicle very affordable to the average Joe. I was thinking of selling mine (I only keep my cars a year) I can't find anything 20K - 25K I would rather have. If you are considering, check it out, Buy It you will love it!"... |

On our second X-typeSource: Cars.com...Had a couple of non mechanical problems with it, but the dealer was great. In '05 we purchased a 2005 3.0 and have 95,000 on it now. Knock on wood (it's nicely appointed with it!!) it's been in once for none warranty work (cost us $126.00) and routine maintainence. Best car we ever owned, including a really nice handling Peuguot STI. We live in snowcountry and the AWD with winter tires makes it so we're never "homebound". It's silly what that car will go through! My only possible complaint is that it's a little cozy to get in and out of. My wife and 5'2" just loves it! I get to drive it once... |

A True JaguarSource: MSN Autos
...Pros: It is a responsive and fun to drive car. Seats are a bit tight, but they do mold to your body on long trips and are very comfortable. |

Sweet little luxury!!!Source: MSN Autos...Stereo system is really nice. I really do love this car. The owner's manual suggests that 93 Octane gas is the best and with the gas prices right now it's still nearly not as bad as filling up the SUV I had using regular, and I get much better mileage. Cons: I had my "Duchess" (my black 2005 x-type's name) for a week and the RPM gauge stopped working. I had to wait two weeks to get an appointment and then it took them a week to fix it. A/C is very loud when on Auto. Overall: I would have to say that despite the small problems I have had, this is the best car I've owed. It makes me more... |
